Here is something I learned that goes on behind the scenes. He has to waive it to each team he wants to meet with…but it is technically “officially waived” when he agrees to the trade.

Again this isn’t free agency the Saints have to offer Houston something in return to which Houston will accept so I really don’t see much compared to our offer

I know the Bucs are also in on it. Seattle is the only Non-South team in the NFC that’s contesting. The Browns are making the lead push in the AFC.

This is what complicates things. Houston has to look out for its own interest too, not just Deshaun. It’s weird how a trade is being painted as straight up free agent because it’s not. (By the media that is)
