  1. Look at the coaches hired that cycle in general, Ron, McCarthy, Judge, and Stefanski so its not like someone hired someone that stands out, Stefanski is the tallest little person IMO.
  2. I can't judge but if you know the stadium area very well it would be everything around Cedar St towards 77 worth.
  3. The whole area around that stadium is what they are talking about not the stadium it self. There is a complex next-door to Glendale that has Entertainment and food that would be near the size if Concord Mills mall.
  4. I fat fingered this and meant to type choices are *NOT* good
  5. Yep you're right That was a response to someone bringing up experience because that really ain't it
  6. There is a sentiment on this site and in this fanbase right now that Dave Tepper is the issue with the team and that we are doomed to eternity. This is a thread about how rough starts tend to be the norm for new ownerships in the NFL. We are in an era where teams are being sold to new owners. We have seen the Browns, Bills, Panthers, and soon the Broncos change hands. The three recent changes had owners hire their first coach and two of them have fired said coach. (Disclaimer Im on the fire Rhule train) Terry Pegula was ridiculed for how he handled the Bills initially and lauded over the Sabres but that has changed as he has gain experience in this league. Here is an article that if you change Pegula to Tepper it seems like Carolina 2.0 https://torontosun.com/2017/01/05/terry-pegula-a-case-study-in-billionaire-sports-team-owners-gone-wrong Pegula learned from mistakes and has a solid foundation in place. Hell Jimmy Haslam is starting to right some of his earlier issues "But Dave came from Pittsburgh there should be no learning curve" Pittsburgh has the main thing that every stable franchise has, a good coach and a franchise QB which Tepper has said many times that he wants (and knows) that he needs to win game. Tepper bought the team and looked to shake up the business side and waited to see what Ron had..which wasn't much left in the tank. He made his first hire and it isn't looking good BUT THATS THE PATTERN. Florio called it in 2020 and said that the pattern is that the first coach hired tends to be fired. We don't know if Dave will fire or keep Matt into 2022 it's all speculation. tldr Dave is letting the football people make the choices and so far those choices are good they are Matt's not Dave's. If Dave were Jerry Jones, Fields would be getting killed behind this line.
  7. The board needs to chill on the Tepper thing. People learn and so is he. Here is a fun story from the team that half this board was wanking to last Sunday. https://torontosun.com/2017/01/05/terry-pegula-a-case-study-in-billionaire-sports-team-owners-gone-wrong it’s gonna be ok.
  8. It might be the egg nog but sounds like someone isn’t tipping their hand to me IE I’m waiting till black Monday.
  9. This…if we have teams issues in 2028 when the real talk will actually take place we have problems.
  10. Someone brought it up but that incomplete pass at the end of the first half looked like Allen was down and sacked before he got rid of the ball. They didn’t even give it a second look with a booth review.
  11. You can tell who really runs the Tampa Bay team remember win Arians said that if Brown messes up once he is gone… Lol Coach Tommy said otherwise
  12. It happened to the Steelers this year and they didn't have a back up either. I mean you don't really count on the kicker getting hurt sometimes poo happens
  13. The obsession with moving on from talent to younger unknown draft prospects is mind boggling. This isn’t like moving on from TD, Greg, or even a Charles Johnson Get a coach in here to make it work.
  14. I think it helps he already has a ring and dpoty award.
  15. We are 8th in points per game for all the “blow outs” that’s actually not bad and kinda indicative of the offense.
  16. I have no qualms with trading back and using a QB in the 2nd. There are a number of defenders that I could see teams wanting to trade up for. We drop down to 15-20 range and pick up a 2nd I see Howell or Ridder being the pick there if available.
  17. Neverrrrrr that filter is permanent Its a a weird hill to die on I know.
  18. Not at all which leads me to believe that people saw the potential in Herbert. He was QB #1 when he decided to go back to Oregon for a year till Oregon messed his stock up with throwing laterally left and right.
  19. It takes two teams to commence a trade and everyone is hell bent “why didn’t we trade up!!!1!1” Well poo who says the chargers wanted a trade?!
