NFL GM Power Rankings-ex Panther on top
Panthercougar68 replied to ladypanther's topic in Carolina Panthers
The number 5 GM once took a kicker who in no longer in the league in round 2 but according to this place no one learns from their mistakes. also Scott is in the too new category as he should be. -
Colts get Gilmore. 2 years 23 mill. 14 guaranteed.

ELLIS L. WILLIAMS Of the OBSERVER on Jimmy G

This isn't 2010 lame duck John Fox who knows he's on the way out. Rhule is still trying to win in his mind. Now if we do roll with PJ and Sam as QBs that would change my tune but as of not, bottoming out is not an option for Matt. -

Two of the best teams teams right now, Buffalo and KC, had a bridge where they got to middle of the road to good with that bridge and then traded up to secure the franchise guy. The team that was 100% on tanking, Miami, has no where near the success Buffalo or KC have. Rhule knows he has to win games next year. If it’s not at the very least 9 he knows he’s gone. He’s not getting 9 wins with Sam. Rhule’s thought process is probably win enough to give me some breathing room and then go from there in 2023. Bridge QBs are people too. -
Looking at the chart they would have to maybe throw in 2023 2st round into that to get the value just to break even.

Kyler Murray deal in Arizona getting very interesting.

End all be all I think this is just a tactic for a new contract. Only reason you haven’t seen anything on the Lamar front is because he has no agent and represents himself. -

Rockhill site going south fast it seems.

There is like a very small sliver right on the corner but not enough to matter. -

How does the phrase go… Don’t write checks that your ass can’t cash? -

I have the sneaking feeling that the land that Sabates was proposing for the new stadium for his ownership bid will be in play for the new HQ site… Right at the state line but in Meck County…. -
Here is my hot take Ownership is overrated I can’t remember what I was listening to it might have been PFT but they brought up no one cares about ownership unless you’re winning. Jerry Jones pioneered the “hands on” owner which was great when there was no Salary cap but look at the cowboys now. People love the owner in good times and boo and hiss in bad times. Tom Benson was a spec away from staying in San Antonio but the Alice types won’t bring that up. There are true bad guys like Snyder in this league but overall the owner signs the Checks.

Would you put it past Tepper to move the team?
Panthercougar68 replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
The NFL is reaching a point where it’s not viable to just move teams. The league knows the next step is expansion so take that for what it’s worth. -
Stock up to trade up in 2023 for a QB if need be.

The only other plausible thing I can think of is that New Orleans will be fine with their current position and select someone like corral or pickett along with one of the Ohio State wide receivers
