Predictions: Biggest Leap/Biggest Fall
Panthercougar68 replied to Michael G's topic in Carolina Panthers
Biggest Leap Derrick Brown- off season conditioning this plush the 3rd year light switch. He’s shown flashes and when he’s focused he can’t be blocked. Biggest Fall Donte Jackson- I don’t think he falls “hard” per say but I get the feeling he will be the “why did we pay him” player next year. -
Ranking the 5 Worst Defenses of 2022
Panthercougar68 replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
So if we aren’t giving up yards but giving up points it tells me the offense is leaving the defense with shitty field position. The number of 3 and outs for our offense put us 29th in the league. But it’s all the defenses fault. -
Ranking the 5 Worst Defenses of 2022
Panthercougar68 replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
This isn’t a bad defense. A bad defense was 2011. The defense suffered because the offense turned the ball over left and right. We were tied 29th in offensive turnovers. The “article” even argued that the defense will suffer because of the same. This is a good defense not great but good. -
Observer loses another beat reporter
Panthercougar68 replied to trueblade's topic in Carolina Panthers
This is a reflection on the Observer. It’s why the writers are trying to unionize. -
Clearly he’s using this spot to spy for McDermott. WELCOME BACK LUKE 🥹
-
Not to sound sour but last time that was the case that didn’t really work out for Luck in the end. If you’re the #1 player you just have to accept you’re not going to a #1 situation. The whole “I’m not playing for them” thing annoys me when your a draft prospect and not a free agent. also was reading there are much better high school QB prospect than Manning.

Mayfield now leaning toward Seattle?
Panthercougar68 replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Did see an interesting theory that after OTAs that Seattle saw Geno and Lock were “not it” so they are looking to add but I’m of the opinion that’s not really true because the mandatory OTA stuff really doesn’t show squat because its glorified walk thrus. -
Mayfield now leaning toward Seattle?
Panthercougar68 replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Carroll has worn out his welcome in Seattle and a number of people I talked to in Seattle when I went last fall were hoping he retried at the end of the season…Wilson leaving probably increased that sentiment. -

Anyone getting the vibe this is being pushed out by Cleveland for us to bite? -
Vegas odds on which head coach gets fired first this season
Panthercougar68 replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Wilks took a lot of leadership lessons under Ron and they have translated. Say what you want about Rivera but his presence was felt in the building in a positive way and Wilks follows that. Arizona royally fuged up firing Wilks and not firing Keim. Arians did what he does best and leaves when things are bad and left Steve with nothing in terms of roster and Keim makes Marty seem like a competent GM. Marty was just meh and unwise, Keim is a pompous child that put all the Arizona issues on Steve when he was mostly to blame. -

Texans gonna have 2 picks in the top 15 next year. -
We need more size on the edge. The off tackle Runs towards the end of the year were getting stupid.

He's from the Carolinas. I met his late father on a construction site in the early 2010's and he was always on the phone with Carlos in a happy excited voice because it was around draft time.

Cash over cap the myth of salary cap
Panthercougar68 replied to Leotiger's topic in Carolina Panthers
If I recall in that segment you can’t just throw money at players that don’t perform. The issue arises when you have to part with the player using this method. Players you know will be in the team for a while are fine with this method…middle of the road guys not so much. -
