  1. He doesn’t have to do much to line his pockets. That happens naturally via the NFL and their shared revenue. The money is in the TV deals. The value of every franchise just keeps increasing. Does he want to be the smartest most powerful person in the room? Idk, impossible to say what’s in the dudes heart. I do know that he wants to win. If you view all of his actions from the lense of him trying to build a winner as quickly as possible than all of the moves start to make sense. And I mean make sense in the vein that you understand the motivation behind them. Did they work? Objectively no. Does he continue to make the same mistake twice? Not that I can see.
  2. Lmao the Bryce haters really sent their best and brightest in you didn’t they? A) Irrelevant B) Irrelevant C) Subjective. Not a fact. D) Subjective. Not a fact. E) There were QBs worse than him. But irrelevant. The offense as a whole was one of the worst in the league. No one would look good in this offense. So not a fact. F) Objectively wrong. Bryce played from under center numerous times to end the season. The scheme was designed from the Gun. Its a bad scheme. Not a fact. Pro tip: capitalizing the word FACT doesn’t make your statements facts lmao. If you have a subjective opinion that’s fine but trying to present them as if they are empirical, or backed up by more than anything other than your low football IQ is funny. I ask for good faith reasonable criticism and you give me this slop. Lmao be better.
  3. It’s actually wild the lengths people will lie in order to push their narrative. outright lying about measurables, saying high school players are better than heisman winning first overall picks, etc. the unhinged hatred is actually wild. Criticize Bryce for things under his control. Footwork, decision making, ball security, holding on to the ball to long. All those are fair criticisms of his game that he can and should improve on. you also need to criticize the people responsible for the things outside of his control. Barely any RPO in the scheme, poor oline coaching, WRs not getting seperation, poor QB coaching on drop back depth, having 9 starting guards throughout the season, etc. Those dead bodies belong at the feet of the GM, offensive staff, and Tepper for being the man behind it all. I have no problem saying that Bryce needs to be better in certain areas to be successful and help us win. Can all of the people dead set on hating admit the situation was otherworldly awful and it’s hard to fairly and accurately evaluate Bryce under these conditions? Can you guys also stop lying about measurables and arm strength to further your narrative? it’s bad faith af and you tell on yourself that you don’t understand what you are watching if you have to make stuff up like that.
  4. I understand Bryce had a bad QBR and passer rating on the season. The argument is why did Dalton look better. The reality is he didn’t. He looked roughly the same as Bryce did throughout the season. Dalton went up against a weak Seattle secondary in a game script that necessitated passing the ball nearly 60 times. The only one you are embarrassing is yourself …just saying
  5. This is why looking at the box score isn’t effective. Look at completion percentage, passer rating, QBR, average completion yardage, how many attempts, and most importantly Bryce got us the wins in the Texans and Falcons game. yes Bryce objectively played better in those games than Dalton did in his.
  6. We really looked about the same. Dalton took nearly 60 drop backs. Our running game was ass, we gave up 3 sacks. Dalton had the same completion percentage Bryce had on the year. Minimally better QBR and qb rating. all of this we should expect from a veteran QB. people love to look at daltons yardage total and think he was just dicing up the Seahawks. Compare Daltons game to Bryce’s best games(Green Bay, 2nd Atlanta game, and the Texans game) Bryce played better.
  7. Senior bowl and building the coaching staff have been the biggest things on their agenda. We will probably get one late this week.
  8. It’s laughable to suggest this post this early on in his career. Bottom 5 oline, bottom 5 WR group, and a terrible scheme that didn’t even have him do what he does best or create open match ups. you are making up arguments that no one is making. No one is absolving Bryce of being a contributor to the bad product on the field. No one is saying Bryce was a developmental project coming into the league. the arguments are he wasn’t the main cause of the product on the field, he needs to work on footwork, and the scheme needs to fit his skill set. It’s getting really tiresome that folks want to make stuff up to create a narrative about Bryce. “Subpar arm, 5’9, 170 soaking wet, already hit his ceiling, etc” That’s negative iq takes if we are being honest.
  9. Because the weight doesn’t matter. Unless you can produce any type of studies or reports that body weight correlates to arm strength, or any other important QB metric. The only thing weight could remotely be tied to is potential injury concerns which Bryce has completely destroyed. But yeah we have a 5’9 170lb QB. Mhm totally.
  10. Lying about height and weight when you can easily Google it is crazzzzzy lmao
  11. The absolute irony of talking about knowledge football fans when you have to make up measurables to try to sell your narrative.
  12. For someone who supposedly watches the games you sure don’t know what you are looking at if these are you takes. Guys with subpar arms aren’t getting drafted number 1 overall man. The kid can’t step into his throws. He has footwork issues that can be addressed but the arm isn’t subpar. He was OVER throwing deep outs this season. Show me clips of any underthrown deep out he just didn’t have the arm to make?
  13. I’m putting you on ignore. Stop following me around, calling me a liar, and accusing me of being another poster. your pfp is fitting. You are a clown.
  14. Yeah like half of the companion characters leave your party and thus you lose access to their side quests. Until the either don’t make them leave and add dialogue to make it work or add other companion characters to replace what you lose than I’ll wait. Plus Mynthras dialogue was bugged for like a month on release so alot Of her options weren’t available.
  15. Why would I need to cope? Swift being at games or the camera panning to her doesn’t bother me at all. As for your last part, what are you on about? You ok?
  16. No you shouldn’t. We have too many holes to be wasting a high second on a QB. What some people fail to acknowledge is that Bryce was a rookie being coached like poo and in a scheme that didn’t cater to his strengths. it’s idiotic to throw the baby out with the bath water at this point.
  17. He doesn’t have height or a rocket arm sure. But his game is at his best on timing, accuracy, rhythm, and anticipation throws. if the pressure is in his lap every play, if his WRs are blanketed at the top of their routes, if they give up on routes, and if the scheme isn’t creating open match ups and adjusting projections he’s gonna look bad along with everyone else. he has enough arm strength to make all the NFL throws. One of the hardest NFL throws is the opposite hash out route which we’ve literally seen him make.
  18. How often are we in base 3-4 with Evero? At this point football is more about personnel vs personnel match ups.
  19. Any chance you are gonna post the new Person article on the athletic? said on Twitter there is times for Dan and Dave’s introduction pressers.
  20. If I could just skip to Act 2 I’d play it more but I went multiclassing pretty heavy into my first run and I’ve been a DM for a multi-year campaign so it’s hard to get excited about “trying” something new. When they make updates to the evil play through and flesh out Mynthra more I’ll give it a shot but you get rid over tons of hours of side quests if you go evil play through. Idk
  21. When you have all pros as nearly half your starting roster and employ the best offensive scheme in the game than yes you can get away with it.
  22. I played the early access like 5 times before full release then went hard on like a 100 hour play through on my first full one and haven’t been able to touch it since. It’s game of the year 2023 but I feel like I burned myself too much lmao
  23. Not to mention the entire generation of young girls and other women who didn’t care about football but now do because of her. I have nieces that are super into football now because of her. More people watching the games isn’t a bad thing imo.
  24. I’m not sure what the point of this thread is? no one here seriously thinks we have a talented roster right now. If anything the lions roster should be a hope or ideal in what we can turn into in 2 seasons. the have a top oline with a corner stone tackle(hopefully Ickey can be fixed and develop into this) this enabled them to make David Montgomery into a bell cow back and give him a career year. He was like a chubba Hubbard level runner in Chicago. They hit on a 4th WR who became top 10 in the league. And they hit on a REALLY good TE. We hit on our draft picks and get the oline back in order and things can turn around. I’ll be interested to see how the lions fare once Ben Johnson leaves and the creativity of the scheme likely follows. We shall see.
