There would be no doubting the fan commitment a guy with a long snapper jersey would boast lol -
Heading into OTAs today - whatcha interested in?

I’m still trying to decide if I want to go ahead and pull the trigger on a Jansen jersey myself. -
June 1st (trade and cut transactions) rumors

You did. But you also said “IF he’s released he probably asked for it and I think I know why” but continue lecturing me on basing my opinions in reality... -

I agree with you. A difference of opinions are just a way of life and that’s what makes discussions worth having. But at this point it really just feels like the same rehashing over and over. One side (the one I tend to agree with) is that the Jets were inept and Darnold was put in an impossible situation as a rookie. The other side is Darnold isn’t good and we will be looking for a QB next year because he just doesn’t have what it takes. None of this can be validated in either direction until the season starts. But making up poo like “Oh Robby probably doesn’t want to play with Darnold” is just nonsense speculation. And Robby has been pretty supportive of Sam. -

Being grounded in reality is fine. But there’s also such a thing as beating a dead horse. If you ever post on mobile, I assume your phone already has your Darnold takes memorized. Maybe you are right. Maybe you are wrong. But you’ve been saying the same poo about him for quite some time now. It’s just predictable and boring. Oh, and speaking of “making up reasons” you pretty much made up the reason Anderson would allegedly get cut. “If we cut him it’s cause he doesn’t want to play with Darnold. I’m not saying these rumors are true, but if they are, that’s probably why” That’s all nonsense you’ve made up because you don’t like Darnold. Fair enough. But don’t tell me about being based in reality. That’s a possibility, but it’s very unlikely one. -

Some people just gotta keep making new reasons why Sam sucks. Maybe he does. But the “I hope he does well, I just think history shows it’s extremely unlikely” line has really grown old around here. -
What the hell is up with the Snow hate in here. This entire board anticipated us having the worst defense in the league heading into the season last year. Snow did an incredible job with what he was given to work with. Now suddenly he’s on the hot seat? If he doesn’t finish top ten it’s going to cost him his job? Man, I swear some of you guys are worse than click bait journalists in the off-season

2021 QB1 Stat Predictions (BleacherReport)
TheMostInterestingMan replied to CarolinaLivin's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’m not denying that there are question marks. Obviously there are some big reasons to be concerned with Darnolds game. But this joint has become two absurd extremes regarding Darnold. Half this place thinks he’s a bust before he’s taken a snap this season and the other half are labeling him the future of the franchise. Sam has a lot of work to do. But I do not care what any poster in this board says, the ability is there. He has the natural talent. He has mobility and he has an arm that can make all the throws. That can be said of every QB drafted as high as he was. Sam has the ability to be the leader of this team for the foreseeable future. He’s just got to put in the work. In terms of ability, there’s more talent than Jake ever had. Less talent than Cam. If he can live up to his potential and slot right in between those two, then we are comfortably set at QB for a long time. It’s up to him. But at this point I’m just hoping he lives up to that. I still believe based on pure talent, he would have been the 2nd QB picked in this draft. -

He won’t be the week 1 starter lmao. I’ve never ignored a user but I don’t need any more reasons. Your lack of football understanding and your desperate need for attention is honestly pitiful. Have fun watching your boy this season. -

It’ll definitely be a failure if he can’t surpass that. But I would bet 5 Gs that he throws for more yards and TDs this season. Literally everything in his team now is better. Better staff, better weapons and an extra game. Even if he were to regress this season he should beat those numbers unless he suffers a lengthy injury. -

Well I’m a Darnold believer. The moment we made the trade, I was excited. I think he can be a franchise QB. Not elite, but a top 8-14 QB in the league (in other words top half). That said, if he manages to stay healthy this year then my MINIMUM expectations for him are career highs across the board. He’s in his 4th year with an immensely more talented roster around him and an extra game. If he doesn’t post career highs then I’ll raise my hand and admit I was wrong about him. I’m a believer but most QBs that stay healthy this year should be on the verge of career numbers based on the extra game. The only ones you can’t expect that from are the true elites. Mahomes, Rodgers, Brady etc. -
Trainwreck isn’t even a real account. Been an alt troll since his main was banned. PanthersUnited owns the troll accounts on this site. Trainwreck is the more popular troll but everyone knows he’s trash. ...

PM if you want a decent place to stream Hornets games. You can get literally all of them for free I’m pretty good quality on a few different sites. I’ve been using one in particular for literally years now to get all the Liverpool, Hornets and Rockies games.

All Time Favorite JAG (Just a Guy)
TheMostInterestingMan replied to CanadianCat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah I agree. I said probably only because DJ could pass him one day and if you wanted to say Keyshawn Johnson was a better WR over his career (which even that might be debatable) but as a pure Panther so far, nobody comes close to Moose for #2 -

Dude Moose is probably our 2nd best WR in franchise history. He’s in my top 10 favorite Panthers of all time. I love the man but he’s definitely not a JAG. I get many of us are throwing around makes that may not be JAGs (myself included) but Moose was pretty elite at his position. He was a legit #1 but we just happened to have Smitty. an all time great, while Moose was with us -

Hoover of course. Another guy that I loved was Brenston Buckner back in that first SB D line. He was definitely the worst player out of our starters on the line, but I always really loved his play. Even next to Peppers, Jenkins and Rucker he never looked out of place. But he never took much credit. -
Yeah they asked him after his first trip to Carolina what it was like walking on the field for the first time. Then someone asked if he grew up around the guys in the locker rooms with his dad and he said he only went to a couple practices with him growing up and was only in the locker room twice as a kid. I was really surprised as well. He definitely instilled a competitive nature in him but it didn’t sound like he grew up around it much from what I heard. But who knows? He didn’t have a typical childhood with his dad being a pro bowl receiver either so your point remains valid haha
-
In some ways yes. He himself said he only went with his dad to practices two or three times growing up in a recent interview though
-
Something that I think is also getting overlooked is this guys confidence. He doesn’t seem out of place in this video. He is working out with the leagues very best and he hasn’t even had a training camp yet. For most young men coming into the league this would be a little intimidating. Making a mistake, getting tired etc is all intimidating. But this guy just looks comfortable. He has star written all over him.

THE GREATEST QUOTE IN CAROLINA PANTHERS HISTORY
TheMostInterestingMan replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
He picked a bad day to have a bad day... -
Hey I completely understand and most of my family has gotten it. I’m just hesitant and I don’t trust pharma at all. And three members of my family are doctors lol. I just hate that I keep getting lumped in with the anti vaxx crowd. I’ve never been one of them but this one definitely has me hesitant. And honestly, I wouldn’t anticipate myself getting this thing for a long time. I want those studies proceed for awhile before I am jabbed. Or maybe I’ve just become a crazy paranoid person, I don’t know. Probably lol
-
Exactly. The thing is me expressing this makes people get really mad. But I just have the Joe Rogan mentality that I’m 31 and I’m healthy so I just feel more comfortable waiting on this one. It’s not like I am opposed to all vaccines. I’m just uneasy with how fast this one has been pushed and I am not not of the demographics that tends to struggle with Covid.
-
You are one of my favorite posters so I’m not trying to bait you into debate. Just throwing out a counter point of view. I’m not an anti vaxxer at all. But I am hesitant on this one. It’s not CDC approved, but emergency approved. And I remember when the left (I include myself here as a support of Bernie) rallied behind Sanders and his crusade against big pharma. Fast forward a few years and you are an imbecile if you question Moderna or Pfizer on a rushed vaccine that you cannot sue them for. Again, I have no problem with vaccines but this one only has emergency approval and the ones making this thing have an ugly track record. I don’t want to be tinder boxed, so I’ll leave it here. I just don’t get the hate for those questioning this thing. I feel like many here judging those who aren’t getting it we’re also rallying with Bernie Sanders going after these same people, you know? I mean it wasn’t long ago that Sanders was calling out Pfizer specifically. I’m good with anyone that wants to get it. I just don’t get the sudden hate for those distrusting of these big pharma companies.
