  1. Shaq takes a lot of poo on this site but he's a really good player. We could do a lot worse than Shaq. I think as a fanbase we have developed some unrealistic expectations at the LB position due to being spoiled with all time greats. Luke, TD, Beason in his prime, Morgan when healthy. Shaq is a damn good player and its kind of a shame to see how people talk about him on here sometimes.
  2. He’s been given more grief than warranted because he was drafted under Rhule. He’s not great but he’s certainly not as bad as he was made out to be. Those saying he didn’t belong in the NFL were obnoxiously banging that drum only because he was a Rhule selection. He’s fine in the role he’s currently playing in and could have a nice career playing in said role
  3. Ultimately we had traded assets for Baker and had already decided to move on from Darnold after last season. But I believe Darnold was injured in preseason anyway and thus Baker was the week 1 starter by default (even though he probably already was anyway and the camp competition was just optics)
  4. I’m not confused at all, but I can see you get off on acting like you are a superior intellectual to everyone else on here and calling them confused inflated that ego. You are just full of poo and I’m frankly tired of it. More because you think you are hot poo and it’s just obnoxious lol But I will. I don’t care to waste my time with your trolling bullshit anymore.
  5. You literally did in our last interaction. You are clueless lmao (which is evident by the fact you can’t even give me a single example of what you are accusing me of)
  6. So basically you actually don’t have an answer. You have me pinned for having a bad take on Darnold which I never wanted us to trade for in the first place? My position was always to draft a QB and keep Teddy but if we were set on trading for one I preferred Darnold for his cost to Watson for his. Right. So you are an internet troll, trolling me constantly for no real reason. Got it. I’ll just block your nonsense then. Take it easy
  7. The foot injury was a bit of a concern but this one isn’t as worrying. This was just one of those things that happens in football. Don’t think we can chalk him up as an injury prone player just yet.
  8. Tell me what takes have been so poor. I’ve already stressed Darnold. What other ones are we talking about here?
  9. Oh and @Krovvy btw, my “poor take” of preferring we trade a 2nd and 4th for Darnold rather than three 1sts for Watson. Yeah. I still would rather do that. Because the only reason I ever supported the Darnold trade was because we flirted with three 1sts for Watson which was a horrible idea. So keep on rambling.
  10. No, here’s the problem. Sorry that everyone doesn’t think exactly like you do on a fugging sports forum and that you have to educate all of us stupid morons all the time while we “drive you insane” but at least you can admit you were wrong about Brown. He’s who I wanted that draft but I guess it’s still somehow a “poo take” on my part. Maybe if you acted like a reasonable adult instead of a 17 year old edge lord internet troll people would read more of your posts. But since you are incapable of doing that, the only person that takes you seriously on here is yourself unfortunately. But keep bashing guys got asking a question about football on an internet football forum you muppet.
  11. No you didn’t lmao. That’s an outright lie. Get lost clown
  12. Didn't you pledge your your loyalty as a Hurney supporter and then tuck tail after he continued to fail? Edgy dumb ass. You seem to think you look super cool talking poo on the internet to everyone. But you actually look exactly how it sounds. Ps. What exactly did this guys post have to do with you? Yet you choose to just be an asshole for no reason.
  13. At that point his arm was already shot. He lost that arm while he was still with us the first time.
  14. Why don’t you go out of your way to be a douche unnecessarily a little more.
  15. Honestly this offensive philosophy would have fit Cam perfectly. A monster Oline with a heavy ground attack opening up deep routes down the field for his cannon arm to exploit. He would have been absolutely perfect for what this offense currently is. And he would be unstoppable on 3rd and short behind this line.
  16. I don't think a single poster on this site ever thought this lmao
  17. Then why would you assume it be corrected mid game exactly? Being frustrated is one thing. But suggesting it could easily be corrected on the sideline in between drives another. Sometimes it takes a week. In bad cases it takes an off-season. And with our coaching staff, the latter is honestly to be expected.
  18. Yep. Was about to say pretty much this. Sunday’s performance was pretty bad but it’s not time to panic over the clear improvements this team is making over the offensive line and defense. They had a bad day and there will be things that need to be addressed cabs corrected over the next week. But this happens to 10 year vets as well. And it isn’t always as easy as mentioning it mid game. It’s great when it is but even pro bowlers have bad weeks and need a week to work on what went wrong. It’s just part of the game.
  19. Yeah my comment wasn’t directed at you. Just those saying he’s a #2 or even a #3 WR. I agree that his effort has fallen off some, notably since the trade deadline imo. I think he probably requested a trade and was denied. I have no evidence of this, it’s just my opinion based on what Steve Smith said on his podcast and his obvious frustrations with his career being tied to a carousel of new QBs ever year.
  20. DJ has always been disrespected in the media due to our terrible QBs throughout his tenure here. He’s always produced despite the poor play under center and having to build chemistry with a new one every single year. But to see him get disrespected on this board is a disgrace. DJ is a top tier WR. And I’m not surprised if he’s checked out a little in the last year. I still think he likely wanted a trade before the deadline. And I admit it’s disheartening to see him not giving 100% but to all the clowns saying he’s just a #2 WR… I mean gtfo with that nonsense.
  21. Putting in Bozeman and choosing to run the ball down opponents throat seems like it would have been obvious even to an idiot like Rhule. Wilks has done a great job since taking over and he’s playing to our teams strengths. We are running the ball well and playing defense. Not only that, but I appreciated the way he stuck with PJ and the way he later inserted Darnold to the top of the depth chart. He let PJ compete for the job and when he was no longer getting the job done, he went on to the next man up. Foreman has been amazing since taking over and this offensive line is going to be really special. I wasn’t on the Wilks train for next season and I’m still not quite there just yet. But he’s starting to win me over.
  22. Yeah I can understand him not being your first choice. He certainly isn’t my first choice either. But if you say you don’t want Harbaugh and then back Wilks… I mean come on.
  23. Well Maye isn't in this years draft and the Branco's loss didn't effect our draft position next season to be fair lol
  24. We wouldn't be getting him if he could. He would be going #1 overall to the Texans. But damn do I wish we could somehow make him a Panther.
