Shoot, for the right price, heck yeah. I would give one first next year and whatever small fry for him, but that's it. They would get no core players in return.

Round 3(a) - Carolina Panthers Select BYU OT Brady Christensen
Matthias replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yep! I wanted him or the Notre Dame LT. Excellent draft!! -
If Sewell is not there, I would go with Pitts. If neither is there, I don't know. I'm not crazy about Slater, and if Fields is there, we should trade with a team that wants him.

Is it normal for a rich athlete to have multiple women come to your home for a massage?

Panthers interested in Falcons Keanu Neal

We're dumpster diving. -
You pulled on my heartstrings. I'll give them Donte Jackson.

I couldn't bring myself to do it. In terms of players, I would give them Shaq Thompson, Teddy (just to have an experienced QB going into the season), and Donte Jackson (if we can convince them he has potential). I would definitely keep those young defensive guys and Moore. Ultimately, they would have to be satisfied with the 1st rounders.

I haven't read through this whole thread, but I'm seeing quite a few posts in favor of trading CMC. This surprises me. Shoot for me, the whole appeal of Watson being here in this offense goes away without CMC being here also. I know running backs are a dime a dozen, but dag, this is CMC we are talking about here. This ain't no scrub. We still haven't seen him at his best. This is also kind of funny to me personally because before we gave CMC his contract a year ago or so, I wasn't against trading him for I believe draft picks. Yet now that we paid him like a QB, I expect big results from this dude as a Panther.

Guy makes a lot of sense about us and Watson. (Good Read)

Sounds like a great trade if all the Texans want is two 1sts, two 2nds, and two defensive starters. I would keep Matos though. -
I wouldn't give them CMC. Even though his position isn't as valuable, personally for me having Watson without CMC would ruin the whole allure. I want to see Watson and CMC in the same offense.

Panthers confirmed to be in Stafford discussion

We dodged one. -
I actually missed this game today due to work, so ultimately it's hard to comment on what lost us the game. I did see the first two drives from the recording of the game and a couple of highlights from Sportscenter. The defense didn't play well, yet before Julio had that big catch for a touchdown, we had a 10-7 lead in the fourth quarter. (It could have been late third quarter) Where in the world was our offense today? Did Atlanta have very long drives when they had the ball? (I know they had the ball for 15+ minutes in their first drive that was aided by the Tillman penalty) I say the offense lost us this game.

Once we got up 27-16, we might have started coasting a bit like Cam. Yet like Cam, we need to bounce back and shut this thing down. Saints trying to steal one from us. -

Everyone calm down. This will be their last touchdown of the game. Even by halftime, we will be leading by two scores and will win by four. -

Stephen A. Smith believes we should apologize to Steve Smith

For those who want Smitty back, you just have to accept he's gone. Here's a video for you, and enjoy the memories.... -

Official Panthers - Eagles Gameday Thread
Matthias replied to Jeremy Igo's topic in Carolina Panthers
Rodney Harrison should not be allowed to comment on the Panthers anymore. This cat is a straight up hater. I think he's still mad that he injured his arm in the superbowl against us, and he couldn't finish the game. -
I predict we will get our first shutout on this one. There's no way the Eagles will be able to move the ball against this defense. Our secondary is ten times better than it was our last meeting, and I believe Bradford will be dumb enough to throw Norman's way for two reasons. One, he's not use to playing against him, and two, Chip Kelly has too much pride in that big head of his to only throw to certain areas of the field. As for the Eagles defense, ain't nobody scared of them. Our receivers might not be the best, but they can make plays. Enough plays to open things up for Olsen. If the Eagles want to cover Olsen up all game long, then they will be burnt by Ted Ginn's deep speed. By the way, don't sleep on Funchess. My biggest problem with him was his lack of involvement on the field, but now it seems his workload is increasing. That's a sign of things to come. (Trial by fire as I always say) Finally, we are simply the tougher team. The Eagles are a very soft, finesse team. This ain't the Seahawks, where our games with them always resemble the football play of old. The kind of game where old vets will look and say, "Yeah, that's how the game is meant to be played". The Eagles are like insects trying to push around dinosaurs. Final score: Panthers- 45 Eagles- 0

I was looking at Calvin Johnson for J-Stew. Yet then again, that contract. (I wonder if the Lions would be interested BTW)

Just looked at his profile on the NFL website. He will have to put on some pounds to get back into full time DE shape.
