  1. I heard a big reason teams aren't signing veteran free agents at this time is because their contracts would pretty much be guaranteed for the year. However if they sign free agents around week 1 of the season, that will gives teams leeway to cut them if they don't work out. That aside, I wish we could sign somebody right now, unless our guy Daryl Williams have potential to be our LT at least through camp.
  2. Give him 8 games. I just want his back up to come in and play lights out. At which point Belichick will trade Brady away and thus a fascinating end to Brady's reign in New England.
  3. So you got Spygate and Deflategate. The funny thing is, it seems neither of these scandals really gave them an absolute advantage. So why did they do it? I think there is something bigger going on here. I believe they are cheating in more ways than simply these two instances. That if you could add up everything their doing, it would equal to a decent advantage over teams. Let's remember, Darth Hoodie got his coaching start with the Browns and that failed miserably. I'm willing to bet that Belichick determined in his heart that the next job he got, he would do anything possible to make sure he wouldn't fail again.
  4. Heehee, that wouldn't work. I would call their bluff.
  5. I don't understand? How would they pressure him to sign with the Saints?
  6. I would like to see the faces of Saints fans if we are able to take Collins away from them.
  7. Williams can go kick rocks haha. I would take La'el at RT over him. Though with Oher looking to be our starting LT, I would take La'el at LT over him, even if he were to struggle his first year.
  8. I want this face to be in Matty Ice's nightmares.
  9. I'm always weary of "Jack of All Trades" type players. This ain't the 50s or the 60s. If Shaq wants to play linebacker, keep him at linebacker. I keep hearing all this stuff about him at safety, but can he cover deep? No? Keep his butt at linebacker.
  10. I didn't like the pick because I felt like he would have been there for us in the second round. So now, I'm not sure if any viable receiver will be available for us in the second, and Jake Fisher most likely will be gone. By the time we pick again, the BPA will probably be on the defensive side, and that is where we will pick again I predict.
  11. I would be good with either Phillip Dorsett or Landon Collins.
  12. Wow. The Bengals' pick is the surprise of the draft so far.
  13. Let's not forget that Landon Collins could be our pick.
  14. Czar Goodell was just assaulted by Danny Shelton. Quick, someone arrest him!
  15. Interestingly enough, I believe Vic Beasley could put on the pounds to be an every down 4-3 end. He has the workout mentality to get it done and if he was still available at 25, he should be our pick hands down.
  16. That's true. Plus their coach was able to make Bruce Irvin work in their scheme in Seattle.
  17. Superb. I don't think he will be a good player in an NFL 4-3 system. You have to put on the muscle to be good there. I mean this isn't the 1950s' NFL.
  18. I hope we wouldn't take Shane Ray. I have a problem trusting undersized DEs ever since the Everette Brown flop. Now, CJ is undersized at 6'2", but he has put on the weight to be a full time DE. Dwight Freeney back in the day was great because he put on the weight. I don't believe Shane Ray will put on the pounds and get up to 260-270+. Like I said the only guy I would take a chance on who is undersized, would be Vic Beasley. He has the frame to add on the weight, and his pro day has shown us he's a workout warrior.
