It's hard to say I've watched a Panthers season where literally one guy prevented the team from winning or making the playoffs. Even when Clausen played for that one year 2010, we didn't have a great team around him. Julius Peppers left to play for the bears, Jon Beason was wearing down, so the defense wasn't that spectacular. On offense we still had Double Trouble and Smitty. (But no TE) So I don't know.

Official Week 10: Saints @ Panthers Gameday Thread

How in the world are we playing nervous against a 1 win team at home? Bad QB play, bad coaching. -
If he is out, we shouldn't need him for the Saints.

Top RB performances in Panthers history

And what's interesting is Dowdle and this rushing attack is doing it without much of a passing game to assist. Delhomme wasn't a great QB by any means, but he did put up 3k passing yard seasons. You know you have a great O-line and runner when that is your only option, and still put up historic numbers. -
I give Corbett props for his work at center last week. And this is coming from me who have been very vocal about his play at the position. It is awesome that he played well when called upon vs the Packers, a team with a good defense. This line is definitely the strength of our offense, and has great depth.

I predict Chuba gets 40 carries for 40 yards. -
It's time to dust off the old rifle.

Of course it's more juice than Bryce.

Dalton always gives us one great game every year since he's been here. And that one great game has always come when he is inserted into the lineup due to Bryce either being injured or playing bad. I expect Dalton to throw 400+ yards and 4+touchdowns. Rico and Chuba will combine for 300 yards rushing and 2+ touchdowns. We win in a blowout.

This is what is going to happen when a corner calls him "Tet".....

I would say if they put Corbett back at center, that would be evidence of some kind of favoritism thing going on. I would have to ask if our coaches are leaders of men. So they bet not do some stupid stuff like that. It would be one thing if Corbett had pedigree at the position, a probowler. This dude has never been a good center in the slightest, and only looked decent at the guard position in the past. (Which I don't believe he ever had a fully healthy season as a Panther) So this shouldn't even be a discussion if you're the coaches. But again, Corbett never should have been the starter in the first place. I know we're armchair coaching when it comes to these things, but before the season, I was rooting for Mays to win the position. The guy played a key role in Bryce's surgence last year. Why mess up that combination? And they did mess up the combination by making Corbett the starter. It could be we might of won against the Jags had Mays been the starter. (Yes, I believe it was that critical) We know Mays went in late against the Cards, where Bryce began looking better at the end. (Though the Cards played soft coverage) So all these things says Cade Mays is the better center for the team. Yet certainly he is the better center for Bryce if nothing else.

Man, these European games are always a snore fest. It's like the players are shy to play in front of a foreign crowd. I don't see this as good defense, but sorry offense. The jetlag must be a huge factors in these games.
