  1. It will be said with greater intensity after the Saints win on Sunday.
  2. Relax. The only details have been six assistant coaches, one nutritionist, and one player on IR have been placed in protocol. That could mean they all had close contact with someone that tested positive and not actually be positive. The Saints have 100% of staff vaccinated meaning protocol would be having two negative tests 24 hours apart and they can return immediately. There's a chance they can all be back by in person by Thursday. They can still sit in on game planning remotely. The player doesn't come into play at all being on IR.
  3. McCoy only played five snaps. Cesar Ruiz slipped into center from RG and played every snap for the rest of the game. Ruiz was drafted as a center and I'll argue that he is better than McCoy. He was only playing guard because he is also better at that position than McCoy. Lattimore is day to day. He played the entire second half with a cast on his hand. There's a good chance he'll be able to play in a similar cast on Sunday. However, the Saints will be getting new CB Bradley Roby who was projected to start anyway when coming off the suspension of the first game. Davenport also missed most of the week one game and the remainder of the defensive line excelled without him. This squad is extremely deep on both sides of the ball.
  4. That one player is on the IR so wouldn't be eligible to play anyway.
  5. Winston may be goofy as poo at times, but he's actually quite intelligent when it comes to football.
  6. Waiting? Want to put a little wager on this game?
  7. You willing to put a little capital on that, Alka?
  8. While Davenport may miss a short bit of time, I would not be surprised to see Lattimore in there Sunday. He played the second half with a cast on the thumb. He can do the same after the thumb is stabilized via surgery. He better with a cast on his hand than 90% of the CB's in the league completely healthy. That said, I don't see anything that really scares me about the Carolina passing attack that our other CB's cannot easily handle.
