Josh Jacobs is a beast man. Packers need to buy a stop on defense though.
-
What an INSANE RUN BY JOSH JACOBS!!! HOLY poo!!!
-
Love is getting all of his WRs murdered on the field!! The announcers just said the Packers WRs lead the NFL in drops this season? really???
-
Totally agree. The 2025 season should be a "put up or shut up" kind of year, not just for Bryce but for the whole team to make some big strides. The last place you want to be in the NFL is in the middle. Not bad enough for top 10 picks but not good enough to contend for deep playoff runs. It's hard to get out of that kind of a quagmire.

in my memory, Steve Smith and DJ Moore could do this. I can't remember too many other Panthers that could. Jonathan Stewart?? He didn't catch many passes though. We draft way too many nice guys that wouldn't even think about doing what Goddert just did.
-
Dallas Goddert stiff armed this dude like 3x and bullied his way all the way into the end zone LOL Packers are getting embarrassed badly. Can they even score a TD????

The panthers have a "type" of wr they tend to fall in love with, and this trend has transcended different coaching staffs, regimes, gms, and even owners. They love the big ass project dudes that they think they can mold into DK Metcalf of AJ Brown. They usually don't seem to be interested in wrs that are already polished with hands and route running abilities that may have less than ideal height/weight/athleticism that the panthers always seem to be looking for. . They literally drafted a wr in r1 or r2 in three out of the last four drafts and they are STILL LOOKING for a #1 WR. If that isn't a huge indictment on their ability to evaluate wr talent from college, idk what is. Only good thing is I think Morgan fired alot of the previous scouts iirc. Maybe that'll help. . I personally think they need to take their medicine this off season and keep their hands off wrs until r3 at minimum. Stop wasting draft picks in r1 and r2 on wrs that don't work out. Rebuild the defense instead. We haven't had a defensive first Rounder in multiple years which is wild.

I think they'll draft a QB outside of R1, and also pick up a different vet qb
-
Raiders have Brock Bowers who had the best rookie TE season in NFL history lol. They also have a solid WR in Jacobi Meyers. They do need a QB and RB . They haven't had a good QB in a quite a while and likely won't be drafting one unless they give up a haul of picks for Sheddur or Ward. Or take a flyer on Milroe or get lucky with late round qb like the Ohio State QB, Rourke from Indiana, Kyle McCord from Syracuse. Maybe Quinn Ewers if he comes out Just not a good year for qbs in the draft. They might also try to sign Darnold or Cousins or something.

Pats are gonna hire Vrabel like everyone's been saying lately. I find it interesting that their first two hc hires after Bellichick were two former players from their dynasty Era.
-
Something I've also noticed is we rarely have drafts where we get more than 2 players that are any good. That's why I like the 2021 class so much and possibly this years class if Legette gets his poo together and brooks stays healthy his last 2 years of his contract. But I think you can say Legette, Sanders, Wallace, Smith Wade, and Coker are all at least solid contributors. That's 5 players vs our usual 2 or 2 players from most drafts. Technically 6 because we traded Barret for Mike Jackson.
-
Something significant I have noticed analyzing recent draft history is, we have drafted offense with the first two picks of the draft for 3 years in a row!!! Probably a big factor in our defense being so ass lately. We simply have not been investing into the defense high in the draft for multiple years.

Do you agree with this evaluation of the 2024 draft class? My personal grades would be 1) XL (C) 2) Brooks (D-) 3) Trevin Wallace (B) 4) JaTavion Sanders (B) 5) Chau Smith Wade (C+) 6) Jayden Crumedy (INC) 7) Michael Barret (** Technically INC but I say B because he was traded for Mike Jackson who became a solid #2 CB) UDFA) Jalen Coker (A) I think I'd give the whole draft a C+ or B- . Early to judge but we definitely saw some promising things from Coker Sanders, and Legette to a degree. Wallace and Wade were solid enough. Alot of this draft is gonna take some time to really judge because of brooks' injury and legette having major dropsies issues in s1. Favorite player from this class is Coker. Also looking back at some drafts of previous seasons. 2023: 1) Bryce 2) Mingo 3) DJ Johnson 4) Zavala 5) Jammie Robinson With bryces recent resurgence, this draft moved from a solid F to a C imo. Zavala improved this year as well. Mingo and Robinson are already gone. DJ Johnson has been underwhelming considering we traded up for him in R3. 2022: 1) Ickey 3) Matt Corral 4) Brandon Smith 6) Amare Barno 6) Cade Mays 7) Kalon Barnes Ickey definitely rebounded this year but hes still had some questionable lapses in pass pro at times. Only other player here worth a damn was Cade Mays who evolced into a solid center or backup on the oline. Id say C- for this one, definitely not great but at least we got a serviceable LT and depth at OL. 2021: 1) Horn 2) TMJ 3) Brady Christensen 3) Tommy Tremble 4)Chubba 5) Davion Nixon 5) Keith Taylor 6) Diontae Brown 6) Shi Smith 6) Thomas Fletcher 7) Phil Hoskins This may be the best draft we've had in the past 4 years. Horn is a great corner and finally played a healthy season. We got solid players lime Tremble and BC. And the rock star of this draft is Chubba Hubbard who basically became the soul of our team. If TMJ worked out this class woudlve been a slam dunk. But for now I'll give it B+ . Horn and Chubba really elevate this class to be the best I've seen since the 2017 (Cmac and Moton) or 2013 (Star and Short) classes
-
Trading down from 8 in a draft without premium offensive talent is going to be difficult imo. We traditionally don't move from 8 and stick and pick, ala Horn (8), Brown (7), CMC (8), Kuechly (9)

I'd imagine any of those playoff teams in the late 1st would be very interested. It's not going to be like last year when you had McConkey, Pearsall, Legette, Worthy, AD Mitchell, and K. Coleman lurking around near the end of the round at WR, not alot of great wrs in this class. Last year was an anomaly in how much offense went off the board in R1. And that was after BTJ, Neighbors, Odunze, and Harrison JR had already been picked. This class is just weak at QB and WR where last year was much stronger. This class is more about defenders and RBs vs qbs and wrs
-
Long gone by the time we get to our pick from the Rams late in R2. You better hope they lose in the wild card round lol
-
Best comment ive seen from Texas fan so far talking about Ewers: "He took the NIL cash and had some buckeyes drug across his face. Big nuts."
-
pretty much he was a late round flyer. After than insane game he had against Texas, with that much publicity and almost single handedly beating a team with far superior talent by himself?? pfffft. He's probably going R3 at the latest now. Unless he runs a glacial 40 time at the combine.
-
Tuimoloau and Sawyer are really solid edge rushers man. Judkins and Henderson are good RBs too. Egbuka and Jeramiah Smith at WR. Steady QB with Will Howard. Ohio State is just loaded with talent everywhere man!! The maybe only X Factor that Notre Dame might have is their QB is really good at running the ball. I think Penn State forced him to throw two picks.
-
I still think that Cam Skattebo has had his stock rise the most out of the CFP so far.
-
I think Sawyer was projected as a 2nd rounder, if he has a good combine now he might go in the 1st now. We got no shot at getting him in late R2 lol. He's probably a 4-3 DE anyway.
-
who is the next Alabama QB?
-
And then Ewers follows his fumble 6 up with an INT on the next drive. Man he is COOKED. He better go back to school!!
-
I got the feeling that Alabama fans we're absolutely ready to move on from Milroe and same with Texas fans from Ewers.
