Harbaugh interviewing with the Falcons along with Belichick?? Jesus. Imagine the Panthers not getting a good coach because Tepper was unwilling to have a dominant personality in the building willing to challenge his poor decision making. -

On that last sack he got absolutely blasted by two defensive dudes in a row. not to mention that was on back to back sacks to end the half. -

That might be asking for a lot. The Texans Defense has been pretty damn stingy but their o line are absolutely shitting themselves. -

Id be seriously impressed if the Texans won this game. Rookies QBs don't go to championship games very often. The only ones I can remember in the time I've been watching football (circa 2003 to present), were Flacco, Big Ben, and Mark Sanchez? I think. And I think all 3 of them went to already stacked teams that carried them. Not sure if a starting rookie QB has ever went to a Super Bowl or won one. -

This game could come down to the one team that has a crucial turnover. Its tied again at 10-10 now after that Texans punt return TD. -

Well the good news is if the Texans and Lions lose this weekend, the Head Coach and GM hirings should really kick into overdrive early next week. I'm almost 100% expecting Ben Johnson to go to the Commanders. Trying to remember all the current HC openings: 1. Panthers 2. Commanders 3. Chargers 4. Seahawks 5. Titans 6. Falcons (already hired/plan to hire coaches) 7. Patriots 8. Raiders -

Whoever is blocking on the Texans left side of the o line is getting beat like a drum. Every other pass play for the Texans, Stroud is running away from a pass rusher coming from that side of the line almost immediately. -

Texans OC is calling a ton of WR screen plays. Probably to alleviate the pass rush -

Thats gotta be at least 3 false starts against the Texans o line already. They're totally out of sorts. -

I wouldn't be the least be surprised if the Ravens blew them out. They looked amped. Probably sick of that narrative that Lamar doesnt do much in the playoffs -

texans o line is getting overwhelmed early -
Tepper is wasting a lot of time and energy on Ben Johnson in what world does the best HC candidate take the worst available job???

There's no definite way of knowing what Stroud would have looked like on our team and what Bryce would have looked like on the Texans I really don't like when fans of either side of this argument act like their OPINION is a fact, it's obnoxious. There's no guarantee that Stroud would have looked just as bad on the Panthers as Young did. And there's no proof that Young would have done as well as Stroud in Houston!!! Different people deal with circumstances in different ways. You can't just assume the outcomes would be the exact same based on the circumstances surrounding them.

I'd say we don't have a first this year so use it as an evaluation year for Bryce. If he's bad, then you get a top 5 pick in 2025 to draft the quarterback of your choice. Otherwise there's not much you can really sell to someone trying to coach in this mess. Other than just totally giving them complete control and paying them a boatload of money. I can't imagine tepper would agree to anyone trying to bring in and stsrt their own vet qb from free agency when we just drafted Bryce. Even if he did have a crappy rookie season so did Jared Goff before he got mcVay. I'd show them tape from that packers game and say fix the o line and Bryce can be a good qb with an adequate o line and good weapons. It's on you and the gm to give him those things to succeed .
