  1. Terrible drop by Amon Ra Saint Brown on 3rd and long with the Lions driving down the field. That might come back to bite them in the ass
  2. I saw the Packers do the same thing. They totally neutralized the Cowboys pass rush last weekend which was crazy I haven't been watching a ton of other games this season tbh. When the Panthers lose I get depressed and dont feel like watching other games. That and I usually have to sleep somewhat early on sundays for work on monday morning.
  3. Detroit offensive line is giving Goff all day long on passing plays. I feel like other NFL teams have to be absolutely spoiled by pass protection. How many times did we see people immediately running through the o line as soon as the ball was snapped this past season??
  4. Jared Goff almost threw a INT in the end zone. WOW. defender just double clutched it and dropped it
  5. thats what i was thinking.. that pass hit him square in the hands and the ball careens off of his hands and into a defenders
  6. dont think that will be enough given their recent injury history. Gotta get at least one really good Guard or two actual solid ones for depth that arent garbage tier like most of the ones we tried trotting out this season.
  7. Is this what you want or what youre expecting?? Really hard to see them getting a QB that high
  8. One with multiple trade downs and one without. Curiously i saw a few trade offers for that included 2nd round picks for next year. Was a steep trade down this year but keep in mind we are missing that 2025 R2 pick from the trade up for Bryce .
  9. Most ideal situation is a slight trade down where we could get a A+ guard prospect and a good WR. Powers Johnson, Van Prann at OG and Troy Franklin at WR are my top targets this early in the process. Franklin IMO is worth taking outright, if hes not there id trade down a little, pick up one of the OGs, and get one of the Wrs from Texas, Legette, dude from UNC, the Michigan WR is there. This class is super deep at WR well get at least one decent one. To be real they could even double dip at WR in R2 and R3 if they make a splash OL signing in free agency. Can get a guard later for depth.
  10. How do you think we fix the O-line? I have no idea what to think about Ikem Ekwonu. He had a good rookie year but had an attrocious season 2. Do you swap him and Christensen? Get a LT in free agency and move Ikey to LG?? Its truly baffling at this point. Its not realistic to think we could replace everyone but Moton this offseason. At the very least we are going to need some very serious depth at the interior positions. Corbett and Christensen have gotten injured two season in a row. Having the two starting OGs missing for most of the season and having scrubs play there probably didn't help, but we also so Bradley Boseman have a really bad year as well. I'm willing to say that the only person on the line that had a decent year was Taylor Moton. This was really REALLY bad year to not have a 1st rounder. I'm thinking we might be best off trading down from the first pick in R2 and picking up another 2nd or 3rd to get more ammo. Summary of contract situations for O lineman: ** Not implying that anyone will be cut, just getting the info on the page: - (LT) Ikem Ekwonu (23) : 7.5 million in 2024 against the cap. Has 2024 and 2025 left on his contract, cutting him would be a hit of - 8.7 million against the cap - (LG) Brady Christensen (27) : 1.6 million in 2024 against the cap. will be on the last year of his contract in 2024, and could be cut for a cap savings of 1.3 million - (C) Bradly Boseman (29): 4.0 million in 2024 against the cap. His contract goes through 2025, and could be cut for a cap savings of 360,000 in 2024. - (RG) Austin Corbett (28 10.0 million in 2024 against the cap. Contract goes through 2026, but 2025 and 2026 seem to be voided years. -1.5 million against the cap if cut in 2024 - (RT) Taylor Moton (29): 30 million in 2024 against the cap. Contract goes through 2025. Could be cut for a cap savings of 5 million in 2024. Personally, I'd get spend a ton of time scouting o line and get two solid ones in the draft, hopefully at least one of them ends up being damn good and has some position flexibility. Not sure what the FA Oline looks like this season, Im not sure we have the cap space to pay Brown, Burns, Luvu, some others, and get a big name OL.
  11. We need at least some semblance of offense to win games. I don't think it takes a ton to fix the offense in a good scheme, personnel wise. You need an upgrade at LT somehow, need everyone to be healthy for a change, then a couple good Wrs that have speed and can seperate. You could get one in the draft and one in free agency. We wont be able to completely fix the WR room in one offseason but you can at least get a couple of competent guys in here in the offseason if you know how to evaluate talent. I would only keep Theilen and I guess Mingo because hes on his 2nd year. DJ Chark and TMJ can go and kick rocks. The wild card is Bryce. He has to play a lot better but in a good scheme he really doesn't need to do a ton for us to win games with excellent defense, good run blocking, and on target throws with timing.
  12. I'm cheering hard for the Bills and the Lions. I almost got as hyped to see that Josh Allen long TD run as I did when I saw Cam do something similar to the Buccaneers in his rookie season I think.
  13. Id feel kind of indifferent I guess. I don't have any real connection to either team other than the Bucs being in our division. But the Bucs have already won 2 super bowls. Them winning another one would be surprising but I wouldn't personally be mad. Baker was incredibly bad when he was playing in a Panthers uniform. Whether you want to blame him or the coaches/gm or what have you, thats up to debate I guess.
  14. Its gonna be so bizzare if the buccaneers make the NFC CG in a year where they were it looked like Baker Mayfield was actively losing the pre season QB battle and almost everyone universally picked them to finish last in the NFC South.
  15. I don't really care that much but it makes it more entertaining when you have a team to root for. I usually root for whichever team hasn't won a super bowl before or the team that has connections to the Panthers. So of the remaining teams, I'm pulling for the Bills, Lion, or 49ers. Seeing the Chiefs win again would be boring that may be the only outcome Id not like. If the Cheifs win again they're basically the new Patriots
  16. That being said, I think they over achieved for it being Jordan Love's first season starting. If they had actually won this game (easily could have imo if their kicker doesnt miss that field goal and they get a field goal on that last drive to win) and gotten the NFC CG, that wouldve have been bonkers for such a young team and a QB starting his first year.
  17. I think they couldve ran the ball 2 times with Aaron Jones and got enough for a field goal lol. Horrible throw yet again. Id be beside myself if i was a packers fan
  18. I think the Packers could have easily won that game with careful mid range throws considering they had all those time outs. or at least got a field goal and forced overtime. That was a very weird YOLO ball from Love to end the game. Well anyways, great game. I feel like CMC iced it with crucial runs.
  19. bizzare throw by Jordan Love. No one in the area. Two 49ers defenders were in front of that
  20. oh poo. They scored too fast!!!!!!!!!!! green bay has a minute and 3 time outs left!!
  21. Wow. 49ers are trying to milk the clock. I guess its smart but they need a TD to win
  22. You gotta report the stats as they are and not leave poo out man Bryce is 0-0 and Stroud is 1-1 .
  23. I was assuming theyd at least get a field goal out of that. This is functionally the same as a turnover b/c it resulted in 0 points and the 49ers getting the ball back
  24. HUGE MISSED FIELD GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Still only a 4 point game!!!! holy poo what a good game
