  1. Goff throws a costly INT backed up against his own end zone. oof.
  2. That mustve been why Jefferson had his arms up after that play lol
  3. Damn. Sam Darnold is off tonight so far. He's missed at least 2 big throws. That last throw shoulda been a layup TD to Justin Jefferson if he doesn't throw it so high up
  4. I miss seeing Panthers play excellent defense. Damn.
  5. Van Ginkle absolutely destroyed Jahmyr Gibbs there. wow. Then Grenard gets a sack on Goff. Both these defenses came to play today, that's for sure. Sam Darnold was sacked for massive negative yards just the drive before this one.
  6. I think if he drops to us, Tetairoa McMillan could be a dark horse pick at 8 if he drops to us. Despite how desperate they probably are to fix the defense, having a bonafide #1 WR would be nice too. But you'd absolutely NEED to hit on some defensive picks in the mid rounds.
  7. Teams above us: 1. Titans 2. Browns 3. Giants 4. Patriots 5. Jaguars 6. Jets 7. Raiders We know most likely, at least a couple QBs will go ahead of us. Someones going to draft the top OT, another team will get Travis Hunter. So that is at least 4 players we've got no shot at. That leaves 3 more teams ahead of us that could select other players. The early projections have Will Johnson and Mason Graham being the best blue chip defenders on the board. Someone will likely take Tet McMillain as top WR off the board. So that is going to leave use with Abdul Carter, Mykel Williams, James Pearce Jr, Jaylon Walker, Nick Scourton, and Malaki Starks as the best players available for us. Very early in the process, but its trending towards DE/Pass rusher at pick 8
  8. Its looking like the Jets could win, but the Raiders will likely lose. So that would bump us up from Pick #8 to pick #7
  9. ((((CAREER STATS AFTER YEAR 2)))) 6 Wins - 22 Losses (21% win rate) (as a starting QB) - 5280 passing yards, 60.3% Completion rate, 28 TD, 19 INTs - 82 rushes, 502 rushing yards 6 rushing TDs , 6.1 ypc (((CAREER STATS AFTER YEAR 1))) 2 Wins - 14 Losses (12.5% win rate) - 2877 passing yards, 59.8% Completion rate, 11 TDs, 10 INTs - 253 rushing yards, 0 TDs, 6.5 ypc Some things I've noticed. His completion percentage hasn't changed much which is interesting. Its good to see that TD to INT Ratio get a little better. All 6 of the rushing TDs came from year 2.
  10. thats the best way to sum up my opinions. We gotta let it bake for a good while to really make any definitive statements about the team or Bryce. Teams are ultimately judged by Wins vs Losses and playoff / Super bowl success, and we got none of that yet. If we can either get a winning season and/or playoff berth in 2025, that is gargantuan progress considering we haven't been to the playoffs or had a winning season in 7 years ongoing. Another step up would be back to back winning seasons and/or playoff wins.
  11. We need to sink a ton of assets into defense this off season. We already demonstrated that the offense can score lot of points with two UDFA WRs starting for us the majority of the season.
  12. So many people here love to make kneejerk reactions man Lets get a winning season that leads to playoffs first and then i'll start changing my opinions about what direction he's leading the franchise in. How about back to back winning seasons? never been done before in franchise history. That is a big benchmark that I'm particularly looking for. Canales' 5 wins = 5 wins Rule accomplished in each of his first two seasons coaching the Panthers. Canales 5 wins technically trumps the 2 wins Reich had. I'll say I need to see more winning and consistent winning. But I've been encouraged by what ive seen in the last half of this year.
  13. Im happy about the progress hes made but I need to see a lot more winning + playoffs to be convinced we have a franchise QB
  14. I won't say I hated him, but I defintely didn't beleive in him from the moment we traded up for the pick 1 in 2023 draft. But I'll admit he's trending in the right direction in basically the last half of his 2nd year I'm not crowning him the king of anything until we make some concrete progress as a franchise (ex. winning record, playoffs, etc). But as of right now, he looks like he's on the right path to lead us that way. I still want to see him do it in a larger sample size in the context of a winning successful season first
  15. I think it was 2 spots we were at 6 before Sunday started I thought. But yea its not a big difference. I don't think any of the shitty teams ahead of us won to help our draft stock anyway besides the Pats, who already had us beat in SOS so it wouldve been impossible to leap frog them. Giants, Jags, Titans all lost, which wouldve been key teams we needed to win to leap up several spots in the draft (assuming we lost as well, and we didnt) lol
  16. We're at pick 8 and guaranteed to pick no lower than 9 iirc
  17. So fix the god damn defense this offseason. That is all.
  18. Mike Evans is going to be a first Ballot Hall of Famer
  19. I fuging hope not. Injuries are bad but the defense has been historically incompetent. You cant just assume we won't have key defensive injuries next year. Some of it is talent, but at some point, if you're getting dog walked defensively every game. It comes down to coaching when you're players are constantly playing 20 yards off their man and not tackling . You don't have to be talented to do fundamental things correctly on defense.
  20. injuries are an excuse at the end of the day. Who is to say we won't have significant injuries again next year?? Injuries are going to happen regardless. And we always get multiple every season.
  21. how many did they need for the most points allowed in a season? I know its 30-something. They already let up 24 points before halftime lol
  22. 1 Rushing TD, 1 passing TD, so 2 TDS. To be fair though, Penix is doing really well too. 204 passing, 1 Passing TD, 1 Rushing TD. Basically same stats as bryce but 100 more passing yards.
  23. Canales loves those horizontal or short plays behind the LOS and they basically never work, ever. Hate them with a passion. Those plays only worked for players like Steve Smith or CMC
  24. Legette has his man beat, Bryce just over threw him there.
