  1. I really wonder why he hasn't signed with anyone yet. I'd imagine there's some sort or disconnect between however much money he wants and what teams are willing to pay him. He's basically going to be 34 for this season (birthday in september) so he's pretty darn old for CB. Maybe teams just aren't willing to gamble on a large contract for a 34 year old CB even if he's been really good for most of his career. Maybe team are only offering him fairly cheap 1 year rentals and he wants some security with a multi year deal. Especially considering, it's going to be the last deal of his career most likely.
  2. This is giving me Cam vibes !! We didnt get a single second of this from Bryce last season.
  3. Joe Milton looking like Cam out there
  4. The Carolina Panthers have not scored any points since 12.24 of last year. Let that sink in.
  5. Plumber is getting abused in the pocket!! Getting his poo ROCKED multiple times in sacks.
  6. Patriots look a lot more competent thus far.
  7. That is the last thing Crumedy wants as our 7th round draft pick. Yikes. Hope he's okay
  8. Our wr just popped off after a 5 yard reception like he got a TD lol
  9. They look just as pathetic as where they left off last season offense wise
  10. That's blatant pass interference on our DB there. He got smoked and just ran into the wr to make up for it
  11. Lol. That was expected . Patriots are definitely playing some starters on defense I noticed. Offense did absolutely nothing on that first series. That CB drove on the ball so hard on that first pass from Plummer. Going for pick 6. Pats are also playing some starters on offense.
  12. They do that just to simulate game day experience it's not an indication he's playing
  13. None of the NFL network people agree with the choice to not play Bryce Some pretty salient points made. "The only way you get better at playing football, is by playing football "
  14. This might be a decent way for us to somewhat evaluate our Offensive Line depth
  15. So this game is basically like what the 4th pre season game used to be. A ton of starters not playing... I'm curious if they'll get any snaps next week vs the Jets
  16. The reporter just said that basically Canales is afraid of Young getting injured . Horseshit excuse
  17. Don't agree with that. He needs all the live reps he can get after last seasons poo show Unless Canales is trying to hide him until game 1. Maybe he doesn't think Bryce is ready yet but this is feeling a little reminiscent of Reich saying the pre season was purposefully vanilla last year. Because he was trying to hide the fact that the offense was ass. Bryce and frankly no one on the team not named Derrick brown has earned this kind of veteran treatment of having whole pre season games off
  18. Idk if that's going to work when you draft WRs like the panthers do in recent years. They think the big ass dudes who can't separate will all eventually turn into DK Metcalf or AJ Brown. And it hasn't happened yet. They keep trying to draft the same fu cking dude over and over and expect different results. Maybe draft a smaller shiftier speedster like Tank Dell next time. I will definitely eat my words if Mingo, TMJ or Legette works out. But if we have another poo season and they all look like bums again, I'll have lost all faith in the panthers ability to evaluate WR talent and just assume DJ Moore was just a lucky dart throw .
  19. Pretty much my thoughts. The last thing a terrible rebuilding team needed was trading up for an early round luxury pick on an injured RB. We're going to know pretty quickly how this turns out when the season starts imo. If Corbett isn't good at Center or gets hurt again Morgan and Canales will look just as idiotic as Fitterer and Rhule/Reich ever did. I really like what the Steelers did is similar to what I wanted in our draft. We could've rebuilt our o line like this for the cheap, grabed a solid wr and MLB, and call it a day. Not rocket science.
  20. That's my main issue with that pick. It's a lot fuging easier to get a serviceable RB just about anywhere compared to getting a young starting center for the next decade to complement spending a shitload of money on LG and RG in free agency. Expecting Corbett to stay healthy and excell at a position he's never played before is almost insanity to me. We're going to see this season whether that gamble pays off for them or not.
  21. Yeap something we already knew even before he was drafted. It's not something that matters too much if you're really good at being a QB. But if you're bad at qb, your lack of a commanding voice or inspirational leadership abilities makes makes the situation look worse on a perpetually losing team
  22. Wasn't Baker Mayfield being clowned on lastoff-season?? And he ended up having a pretty good year and going to the playoffs with Tampa Bay. I know he's not a QB but I also remember people panicking when Jamar Chase was dropping a bunch of balls the off-season before his rookie year started. Then he did great when the actual games started. Bryce had almost nothing but high praise all off season before his rookie year actually started. Then he proceeded to fall off a cliff and be the worst starting QB in the league. People put way too much stock into off season practices.
  23. Notice how people are all using the exact same picture as their evidence that Bryce gained a ton of muscle. Not that that muscle really matters for a QB that much. AR was rocked the hell up and he couldn't stay healthy. Mahomes looks very average or even chubby and he's the best qb in the league. This is just an off season gossip session because there's not much else going on
  24. I think Canales definitely deserves more than 1 year from Tepper. Especially if Bryce ends up sucking. Canales deserves the chance to pick his own QB, he should really get 3 years or the 2 and some change Rhule got at the very least...
