Why isnt Lavishka Shenault getting more manufactured touches?
Hoenheim replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
We should be starting chubba at RB and giving laviska a lot more carries. Sanders should be riding the God damn pine like the bum he is. -
Ive given him a new nickname. "Swindler" because he absolutely stole money from Fiterrer given this absolute shite he has put on the field This is insanely bad. How the flying fu.ck does this dude keep getting so many of the carries? Wtf???? AT ATL 18 car 72 yds 4.0 ypc 0 TD VS NO 14 car 43 yds 3.1 ypc 0TD AT SEA 9 car 24 yds 2.7 ypc 1 TD VS MIN 13 car 19 yds 1.5 ypc 0 TD Total 54 rushes 158 yds 2.9 ypc

Kyle Bailey says Tepper isnt happy, wants changes now.
Hoenheim replied to CPF4LIFE's topic in Carolina Panthers
How is this thread so long already -
Not having Christensen and Corbett healthy has hit us extrmely hard. This might be a very different team with both of them healthy and jc healthy

Yea it's a team game but it's a problem if your qb is only directly (passing or rushing) accounting for 0 or 1 TD a game. That's not enough production to win football games. For everyone just blaming everyone and everything else and just brushing bryce struggles off as him being a rookie. Consider this. If you need your QB to have a top 5 o line, hall of fame wrs, Kyle Shanahan at HC, and have the 85 bears defense completely shutting the other team down....Then maybe your qb ain't that good.

Pledge to continue being a fan the rest of the season....
Hoenheim replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
The fact that were still here on this message board despite this likely being the franchises 6th losing season in a row automatically means we're still fans We lost a lot of those 2015 bandwagoners a long time ago. If you truly were not a fan or didn't care, you wouldn't watch the games or spend time arguing about them here -
Bryce didn't score any points. In fact he contributed -7 points from that fumble 6. Cousins had 2 picks but threw 2 TDs. My main problem with Bryce isn't really he's making ton of mistakes its the lack of overall production. We have a good enough defense that he doesn't have to throw 5 tds a game but the fact that he either gets 0 or 1 td a game is a problem. Theres a correlation between the low offensive production and Bryce being on the field. And if YOU want to do that hypothetical horse poo about one of his TDs being dropped, his dumb ass had a pick 6 dropped earlier in the game too. That's almost -14 points on your QB alone.

If my aunt had nuts she'd be my uncle No it's not all bryces fault. But theres a high correlation with him being on the field and the offense stuttering 95% of the time. Dalton actually got this offense to work consistently. It almost seems broken with Bryce. If we play the If game, you could say if Bryce doesn't have those 2 picks to ATL we win game 1 and if he doesn't fumble 6 this game we win this game. But he didn't. He hasn't shown me anything that's impressed me enough to justify him being the #1 overall draft choice. The haters are using results they see on the field from what I'm noticing. The apologists are mostly operating on if statements, hopes, dreams.

If your team is going 0-17 anyway that almost doesn't matter. I say go On a firesale and get as much ammo as possible to rebuild the franchise which is bigger than one decent defensive end

We already learned in 2018 and 2019 when he was healthy that cmc didn't put this team over the top. In San Fran he's making an already good team into a great team. In Carolina he made a shitty team slightly better and it didn't have much impact on us being a winning team vs being a losing team. It's like the difference between us winning 0-3 games vs 4 to 6 games in the best case scenario with this current roster. All that does is lower your draft position. And yes I'm aware we don't have a r1. But we still have 2nd 3rd 4th , Two 5ths, and a 6th rounder. If we lose all our games our 2nd rounder is almost like a 1st.
-
I really agree with this point. BUT with fit and Reichs jobs on the line I don't trust them to just sit around and wait and get fired bc of it. It would take an executive order from tepper to stop them from continuing to trade picks away and continue fuging up the draft picks they do have
-
The wild thing is I think Tepper fell in love with Bryce similar to how he did with Rhule. I know that's a hc and a QB but I'm saying he just seemed enamored with both of them. Made it look like much less of a rational decision based on football and more of a personal one with who he personally got along with
-
I was a vocal supporter of stroud even after the draft. I think I almost got banned for questioning Bryce after draft day Edit: now I read the op lol. Yea you can't expect huge turnouts for fans when you're on your 6th losing season in a row. We're approaching 2000-2017 Browns levels of ineptitude
-
And how long does it take? No first rounder so we stuck with Bryce for at least 2 years min. At what point do you just start Dalton or a vet qb? Do you just slam your head against the wall with Bryce for 2 or 3 years ? I'm not completely giving up on him but God damn does it look bleak. I listened to a cam Newton pod and he said something a long the lines of we have to be careful not to ruin or scar Bryce. His psyche is going to get pummeled if he keeps doing this poo for this whole year and we go 0-17
-
Offense buzzed for 1 game with Dalton and is ground to a halt with Bryce throwing for 3 games. I'll let you do the math
-
Why does he keep trading away draft capital like the panthers are a team on fhe cusp of a super bowl? Were going to have some really shitty drafts for several years seemingly At some point you need to just eat your mistakes and commit to a rebuild. All this retooling poo keeps sinking the franchise progressively deeper...

Vikings defense is allowing the 2nd highest completion percentage in the NFL I don't need to see a win here because I know the vikings have a top 5 or top 10 passing attack. What I do need to see is a decent game from Bryce. I'm talking 250+ passing yards, 2+ passing TD, and a positive td/int ratio. I don't think that's asking a ton going against this caliber of defense. If he's going to be stumbling into another 150 yard, 1TD or less, turnover prone fest like his first 2 outings I think I'll officially be hitting the panic button. It's still mind boggling they didn't pick Stroud after getting blown away seemingly at the combine and pro day. I think Bryce won the Teppers over with his personality and that ultimately sealed the deal.

I saw cmc do extreme work here and we definitely didn't have the best o line in the league in 2018 and 2019 when he was healthy Maybe miles doesn't suck per say but if he really was that dude he'd be doing a lot better than he has the past couple games

Use a lead blocker, get the running game going
Hoenheim replied to Jmac's topic in Carolina Panthers
We need Foreman, Corbett, and Christensen back. And Wilks lol. Realistically though, give Chubba a lot more carries. He's been doing better than Sanders but they keep sticking with Sanders. Also diversify the run calls. They keep running sanders up the gut like he's a power back when we don't even have 1 power back on the entire roster.
