I don't agree if it's a huge fall. Like 33 to 50 and 60 or something. Having 2 picks in top 40 is incredibly valuable you won't have the same options later in R2 or in R3

They arent permanent solutions. Both will be 27/28 when the season starts. So they will be relatively old by the time they're contracts are done. In 3-4 years. We also still need a permanent solution at center. We also struggled mightily with guard injuries in the past year+. I guess you could change Barton to whatever player you think would be best at Center. Ideally with the last 2nd rounder or the 3rd. Center is so important that I wouldn't mind getting it with our first pick. I wouldn't even be mad if they traded both 2nd round picks to get Jackson Powers Johnson who is widely regarded as the best Center prospect in the draft. Nobody thinks he'll drop to the 2nd round. But if he does he should be the pick imo.

And guess who was the winner. Your very own Carolina Panthers!!!

Defensive one:

Cam is almost in a Kaepernick level of not returning to the league. Since the last time he played so many teams have signed so many shitty or mid QBs vs signing cam who woudlve probably been better. Imo they don't want to deal with the drama of him being a backup and/or don't trust his arm/ability. He hasn't had a full good season since 2017.

Sign Hollywood Brown right now…….
Hoenheim replied to WarPanthers89's topic in Carolina Panthers
Isn't he a bit similar to Diontae Jonson who we just picked up? Combine that with their body sizes being similar I would think the staff would see this as a redundant signing? I could be wrong because im not super well informed about Johson and Brown. -
Who the fug is Branden Fiske and why is he worth us taking a defensive lineman at #33 overall ?? I'd be suprised if the first 3 picks are all defense like that even with the Diontae Johnson signing. We still really could use a bona-fide Center and a younger WR high Edit: now I see Jalen McMillan not bad. For mid round WRs I was looking at Brenden Rice and CMCs brother as a potential late round WR

Post burns trade mock #1. I really hope we hold on to both 2nd rounders. So much talent left in the top half of R2

Breaking: Panthers sign former Seahawks OG Damien Lewis

I mean I guess they could've completely sold out to pay the returning defenders like Burns, Luvu, and others. And then decided to fix the offense gradually. But according to reports, they're putting a huge emphasis on offense in free agency. So maybe they view offense as the more pressing issue and the defense, as more of a long term project. -

It's going to be absolutely hilarious if the o line is still poo after all of that . Because we know the defense is shot for the next year bare minimum. -

They wont be solve every position in 1 off-season. Rebuilding a losing franchise thats been bad for several years in a row is going to take multiple years to fix. -

How good is he?? Just taking notes here. Lewis would be 27 at the start of next season, Hunt would be 28. This tells me that Canales and Morgan watched the tape and immediately thought the Oline was problem #1 that had to be solved -
That's pretty balanced at least I'm assuming this means we got a Center in free agency or shuffled the left side of the o line

Powers Johnson or Graham Barton. Both of them are good enough to be gone before we pick though. I'm not sure there's a ton of other options that are worth 33 overall without reaching. I'd look for a trade down if neither drop to us Trading Burns would help a lot in rebuilding the o line. Maybe R2 and R3
