Don't really love any of these dudes I'd wait until 2026 to draft a qb unless you're just picking up a flyer on one of these guys listed in R5- R7 or something. Whole team is too talented deprived to be reaching for QBs of questionable ability to translate to the NFL at this point. I'd be pissed drafting any of them in R1. That let's me know either Canales, Morgan, Tepperr, or all 3 of them have not learned their lesson and are desperately grasping for a quick cure all again. At least not having to trade up for the qb would make it more tolerable. But imo, you use it on a can't miss player. If we have pick 1 2 or 3 , you can basically draft the unanimous #1 offensive or defensive players in the draft at almost any position. Game breaking WR to grow with Legette and Diontae. Game breaking edge to bring the defense back from the dead!! Superb corner to pair with Jaycee to make a shut down secondary unit . fug these qbs

Good thing about paying Horn is that he's been severely injury prone. So he's not gonna have much leverage with any team for a huge deal. Idk if I'd pay Diontae Johnson. Would be nice to have but he's definitely not worth near 30+ mil a year like top WRs. He might try to bend the Panthers over because he's our only reliable #1 WR at this point. He's really still a #2 WR imo. He's just a #1 on our squad. He's not cooking dudes on go routes for long TDs or out muscling DBs in the end zone every Sunday. But he is deadly in the middle of the field and gets open which is what a WR2 should be doing.

Underrated comment here. There's basically a huge tax for players willing to sign with the worst team in the NFL for the last couple years. Nobody is going to want to play for the Panthers for a fair deal unless they can't get anything higher on the market with another team

I still remember that one fan that showed up to the draft wearing a custom made CJ Stroud Panthers jersey. People were making fun of him but man that is a haunting image with hindsight now.
