Xavier Legette and Jalen Coker look encouraging thus far in the season. Showing more in limited games that Mingo or TMJ showed in several more games.

Im seeing a continuation of all the passes around or behind the line of scrimmage from last game continue into this game. Those short passes are basically like forfeiting a down and Canales keeps calling them repeatedly.

Everything just comes so easy against our defense. Fire fuging Evero man. I dont give a damn about him missing players. These players we have on the field make stupid mistakes every Sunday that aren't even talent based whatsoever.

Weird that I don't see any preview threads. Didn't there used to be a user here that always made his own analytical previews of the next opponent? Any of you have some insight on the Falcons and how you expect this game to go? I have no idea personally. On paper though they should massacre us. Cousins has been getting his mojo back lately. I want to see Canales commit to the run. Don't want to see defenders throwing shoulders and not tackling. And I want to see some semblance of a pass rush. Worried about the o line. Is it going to revert back to 2023 levels of suckage or will it somehow be good enough to not get Andy harassed all day? Do you think Evero has a job with us next season, if the defense continues to be a historcally bad panthers defense? We're wearing some nice jerseys imo.

Yea. I think this thread is even more relevant then more we continue to lose. I say trade his ass. Full rebuild We shouldn't be handing anyone any big contracts MAYBE resign if he wants a reasonable deal but I debuted it. He probably wants to get out of Carolina anyway .

He hasn't proven himself yet. Although I will say the 2024 draft looks better than the 2023 draft thus far at least. Legette looks way better than Mingo, Trevin Wallace looks good. Brooks will probably be good. J.Coker technically wasn't drafted but he came in with this draft class basically. He's good. Not getting a center is gonna fug them imo. Hope he concentrates on rebuilding the defense next off season

The only thing that even remotely compares to the 2023 and 2024 seasons is probably the 2010 season (I've only been a fan since 2003 so I can't speak on seasons prior to that one). I remember in 2010 I watched all the games and just laughing at Clausen the whole time. But at least we got Cam Newton right after that season. I got more hype for games in 2011 than any other season minus 03 and 15. Just the way cam exploded on the scene immediately had me so excited. I have no clue how I can get that feeling again. Wed probably need a new qb. I feel like Bryce is the reverse of what I just described and Dalton is an old vet and obviously not the future. I don't even think we can bank on drafting a qb next year even with pick #1. Canales and Morgan might want to do a slow complete rebuild and focus on other areas of the team first. Which means it could be multiple years for me to get that excitement again, which is depressing as hell. Maybe we'll at least draft some blue chip players that can get me somewhat interested again. Because right now, all we really have is Chubba and I doubt he'll be here next year with an expiring contract and panthers just drafting Jonathan Brooks in R2 last year.
