  1. Where would he fit in the offense with DJ Robby and CMC? Are you drafting a top 10 pick WR to be a 4th option??? I still stand with going oline . Last year we almost over committed to Dline early and I would love to see the same commitment this year to the oline early. Getting something like Slater in R1 and Eichenburg or Leatherwood in R2 would work wonders for rebuilding the Oline . Then you can go get your safety and CB in the mid rounds . Use some late rounders on Dline and skill position depth . Maybe throw in a flier on some QB with one of those . There you go . Solid solid draft. And if we're too good next year to draft a qb high once again ? Then you can splurg on a top FA qb ala Tom Brady situation and stick him into a roster that's already ready to rock .
  2. I wouldn't be trading away any more than this year's and next year's first to trade up (in terms of first round picks). If you're trading away 3 first rounders it better be for Trevor Lawrence and nobody else
  3. Not taking into consideration teams that could trade up in front of us
  4. False accusers need to get punishment as well in my opinion. Even if it's eventually proven that the accused did nothing wrong the whirling poo storm caused by those types of accusations doesn't just poof into non-existence .
  5. Don't jump the gun and judge him for unproven allegations. Just hope the NFL and everyone else actually lets the justice system work before just assuming a dude is guilty.
  6. He's probably asking for way more than were willing to pay and I don't blame him
  7. He really was lucky to get that . He's been injured and/or played poorly for 4 out of the last 5 seasons since 2015 ended (I'm referring to 2017 season ). The fact that he's still starting is pretty incredible. But this is probably his last shot to remain a starting QB. If he puts up another stinker in 2021 hell only get backup offers or retire if he doesn't want to be a backup. To be real he's already had a decent career. He's got a ton of rushing QB records , most of Panthers QB records, a MVP and a 15-1 season. I'm sure he just wants a Super Bowl now he's already made an insane amount of money and keeps making it through a ton of endorsements.
  8. Bellicheat is having an emotional overreaction to Brady winning the Super Bowl with Tampa. Would be crazy If they ended up even worse than last year with all these signings lol. Better hope Cam plays alot better this year because last season it looked like his shoulder was still shot.
  9. #9 is every panther free agency ever lol Needless to say more often than not it hasn't worked out for us
  10. If I were gm I would've just resigned our guards from last year to bargain bin deals , splurged on a LT and drafted a couple oline in rounds 1-4. Makes no sense to spend on injury prone castoffs and it will keep the oline turnstile turning .
  11. Why is this franchise in love with injury prone bad to mediocre free agent Oline? Part of the reason why we've had so much turnover at oline for so long . These could be Hurney signings and I wouldn't know the difference . At least they're somewhat young and didn't break the bank. That's about all I can say.
  12. Had a great career but this is long long overdue. Maybe we can actually win some games vs the Saints now lol
  13. Id take him at 8 no problem. Trading up to 3 or 4 though I'm not sure how I'd feel . It's really tough to say who will be the better QB career wise out of Wilson Fields and Lance . You could say Wilson and Lance are more one year wonders , I still think Fields is the best option not named Lawrence. But we really won't know until they've all been in the league for 3-4 years . If Lance dropped to us and essentially ended up as this year's Herbert that would be nice . Not too confident that will happen though. If the Panthers really like any of the top 4 QBs they'll have to trade up if they want to make sure they get their guy. Jets, Atlanta, Detroit , and Philly could all easily pick a QB or trade with someone who wants one. Also everyone else in the NFL knows we're thirsty for a QB. So waiting at 8 is a death sentence. Teams will be clamoring to trade up with Philly or Detroit to leap us if Lance or Fields falls .
  14. I'd take norwell and turner back for cheap to be honest. We don't have much at LG or RG .
  15. He's still the most logical pick if we stay at 8 and a qb slides to 8
  16. No clue Maybe he wants to redeem himself after he got paid and promptly was out with injuries most of the season.
  17. Is Minshew any better than Teddy? That screams to me like a Bridgewater signing Trubisky or Darnold would be worse
  18. We should have done that last year but I'm guessing Hurney was trying to save his job (would explain the Whitehead and Weatherly signings as well as Teddy). If we did it might be us with the first pick or at least guaranteed to have one of Lawrence Fields or Wilson
  19. How is this news when people have been talking about it for 2 weeks now lol There hasn't been any major news all week last week ....
  20. Hed have mind blowing numbers with a halfway decent QB .
  21. If we had a Superior oline Mac Jones would probably do decent here we already have good weapons .
  22. It would be nice to get that long term deal done he's more than earned it at this point.
  23. I'd still gladly take him or Lance if they dropped to 8. Keeping all our other picks would be huge. It's looking like Wilson is almost certainly going to either the Jets , Falcons , or some team that trades up high.
  24. That's not really surprising given their QB options available otherwise. Problem is his shoulder just shot? I saw him just inexplicably ground several balls last season . They definitely need some more WR talent but Cam needs to improve too . Having a mid round pick isn't that great of a position to be in. Not sure how they are looking cap wise but if they were smart they'd draft a couple wr high and sign a marquee one in free agency . I think their oline is pretty good and RB are solid .
  25. Honestly Id love to have Watson but I wouldn't be happy trading several years worth of draft picks and high profile players for him. Your throwing all your chips in one basket and if you fail you may be screwed for a while . Just wish there was a way to get him on a reasonable deal . Because the signs are pointing to us giving away way too many assets from a REBUILDING team to sell out for a QB . You'll have to hope Fiterrer will be striking gold on those mid to late rounders for years in a row . Because we wouldn't be able to afford Hurney esque post round 1 draft classes because you've got most of your cap and alot of high round picks all given up for Watson already .
