  1. What the bleep is that drop back technique where he slooooooowly walks backward with his hips parallel to the line? Has no coach in all the years he's been playing ever tried to teach him how to do a proper drop? How is the line suppose to block for him when he doesn't hurry backward and set the point? How does he keep time on timing throws? I mean what the bleep am I watching?
  2. No, this is a results driven league by far. If a HC thinks he has a better chance to win with a different qb, he'd try kicking Bryce to the curb in a heartbeat.
  3. Nope, at the combine QBs are asked to make specific throws not to generate buzz or to make them look cool. They are asked to make them to see if they can make them and how well they can make them. I think you're confusing the NFL combine with pro days.
  4. You know what else is not a good sign? Bryce's performance this season.
  5. He apparently had two concussions in that game. The first one happened early in the game, which affected his coordination. Not to mention he had unfamiliar receivers to throw to due to all the injuries. A concussed Stroud throwing to 6th rounders and UDFAs was still better than our super processor.
  6. What does letting HC candidates talk to Bryce accomplish exactly? To show them that he interviews well and has great table manners? The NFL ain't a dinner party. The fair thing to do would be to give prospective coaches an opportunity to evaluate Bryce's football skills. Get Bryce on the field and ask him to throw as if he's at the combine. Let the candidates watch and evaluate whether Bryce is workable. If Tepper insists on having Bryce as the franchise qb come hell or high water, then that's his right to do so as an owner, but do expect plenty of candidates to say no thank you.
  7. Tua isn't Bryce's ceiling. Bryce will very likely never reach that high even if surrounded by all-pros. Tua has a decent (read average) arm for the NFL, and Bryce will never have that.
  8. The Cowboys have been proven a fraud again. America's team, my ass. They can move their arrogant and presumptuous asses to South America and call themselves South America's team.
  9. Right now Bryce doesn't just have bad footwork. He has no footwork to speak of. He's the equivalent of a rookie NBA point guard who hasn't been trained to dribble or pass. If you want to see what bad but fixable footwork looks like, look no further than rookie Aaron Rodgers. It took him three years on the bench to fix his footwork and his throwing mechanics. Three years. How long will it take to teach Bryce proper footwork and throwing mechanics? Nobody knows, but it'd make an interesting case study and a cautionary tale. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5U23QDOcBXI
  10. I'm happy the Cowboys lost. They should just pack up and move to somewhere in South America. Be South America's ream.
