I think Marshall was a Brady pick because of the LSU connection . He may have talent but you can not' make the club from the tub . Its sad for Marshall ,but Rhule was not the problem . The best players should play regardless of draft position . He is taking a spot that others have worked hard for and not had injury problems . Some team might take a chance on him , but we are not in a position to let him sit .

I think Hays did enough to make a spot .

So what happens with PJ now , Is he cut .

Why not alternate Corral and PJ like Baker and Darnald . It would at least give Corral reps . So far Rhule has given him no chance to improve . Must be he was a Fits pick and not Rhule . Seems like Darnald and PJ are his favs .

It makes no sense to draft a QB with potential and not give him reps . We know PJ is not the future QB of this team . He is only here because of Rhule . His lack of reps showed on the field .

Shi Smith looked very good . If he does not make a starting rotation he will make it just on the punt returns alone .

The big mistake Tepper made was to rely on Hurney influencing his decision to hire Rhule and give him such a huge and long term contract

If we start out run heavy and lose our first few games Tepper will say I've had enough and fire Rhule. Our new coach will change to a pass first offense and we will start winning . We will have a new sheriff in town .

Trade Sam for a 4th , we pay 10m of his contract, a coke and a happy meal . We net Baker for 15m and get our conditional 4th back . Win win

Fits has done a masterful job . If he can make a trade thats is equal or better than the Baker deal it is a wash at the QB cost . If not we just sit Darnald at the backup spot and let him walk next year .

Now let Fits made a deal to trade Sam . We can eat some of his contract like the Browns and get back a conditional pick. Roll with Baker , Matt, and PJ .

We have a lot of WRs on the team that could pan out . If Marshall is ready , Robbie could be traded . He says no about Baker so make a deal . Darnald and Robbie for Baker and a future pick . What say you

Question ? Is Cam a better option than Darnald . I think the answer is yes . Cam does not see ghosts . All we need is someone to manage the game . Cam can mentor Corral until he is ready to start . Cam can rally the team and with a better O-line we have a chance to win . I know Cam is not the same player he used to be , but he is a veteran and knows what it takes to compete . It would bring back the fans and give us a little more hope.

Bring back Cam for a full training camp and let the chips fall where they may. At worst you have a great locker room QB and mentor for Corral

They need to go like the NFL and select by their records . We haven't had the Number one pick since Larry Johnson . Other teams have had top 5 picks several times . It just seems to be rigged . Everything needs to be out in the open .

Before you say GB needs to go , you need a plan on who is his replacement . Good coaches stay where they are . Bad coaches are fired so pick your poison .

losing out on the Watson trade is a blessing . It would have cost way too much . We could not afford to lose any of our best young players much less several draft picks . We now can focus on the draft and getting the O-line help we need . Maybe with a better line our QB (if Darnald) can have enough time to make a good play . If not , we can draft a QB next year .

Gardner Minshew was traded to the Eagles last year and is under contract for year 2022 . Robby Anderson is showing interest in being traded . Robby has one year left on his contact also . Would you try to make a trade with the Eagles for Minshew . He is an upgrade QB over Darnald and the cost for the trade would not break the bank . This trade allows the Panthers upgrade our O-line with our draft and if MInshew doesn't work we can draft a QB in2023 .

Build the O-line in the draft ! Trade down if possible . If a QB falls to a lower 10-15 pick then take a shot keeping the extra picks to build the O-line . If we don't pick up QB in the draft just wait for a QB to be cut from another team (maybe Carson Wentz) . We keep our draft picks and give Darnald competition . At worst we have a good backup QB . Cut Walker .

It won't matter much with a new coaching staff if Rhule is in charge of the draft and FA pickups . He went all defense the first year and did not address the 0-line problems . He then went on two FA quarter backs spending our future draft picks . If he goes QB again with the first pick our O-line will still look like a mess next season .
