  1. For the last 6/7 years (however long it has been since we've had something like that happen on a special teams play), any time we have remotely had a spark on a return I have become super pumped. Like, jumping out of my chair yelling at the TV, pumped. Last night when he made his first miss, I looked at my fiancé and said "he's taking it to the house", then looked back down at my computer to finish up an email I was preparing. From there, it turned into laughing at our mistakes, sending memes about how terrible we are, and when we received the bad punt within their territory that led to going backwards 30 yards from penalties we were all cracking up because we had all called it to happen. I have moved around my entire life. I moved to Charlotte the year they started playing in 95 and immediately adopted them for a few reasons: Grew up a Packers fan since my dad is from WI and wanted to get rid of that As a new kid in town, it helped me make immediate friends (that I am still friends with today) I lived in Miami during the 2015 season, was going through some huge challenges, and those Sunday games played a big role in me keeping it together and having something to look forward to every week. I now live in Colorado, zero other Panthers fans here that I know, but every Sunday I still talk to my OG friends from Charlotte about the games, etc., but that too has been reduced to just a few texts now. Which leads to the biggest overall point - my desire to continue watching this team is at an all-time low. I have never felt more disconnected, and I legitimately dislike this team in its current iteration. Dislike the owner to a level of probably getting arrested for assault if I saw him Reich was SUCH a bad hire Fit needs to be shot out of a cannon into the sun Half the roster should be loaded into the next round for the cannon into the sun How we have continued to go backwards under this Owner every year at such a staggering rate is unfathomable. It has been death by a thousand cuts. Even IF he has had the right intentions (like I believe he did this offseason), he has zero operational understanding of how to do it and needs to be removed from any and all decision making. There is so much that needs to be fixed from top to bottom, but I am beginning to worry about my own personal fandom, as well as how many fans this team will start to lose in a mass exodus of sorts unless something major happens, and happens very soon.
  2. Does it even matter though lol. Can it get more embarrassing? At this point take that playbook and toss it in the trash and let them play backyard ball.
  3. It's easy - look how people started hyping up Blaine Gabbert during the Cam draft. A lot of these mouthpieces just follow the herd. One guy says something about Bryce, the rest don't take the time to form their own opinion and just spout out similar things.
  4. I mean, we literally still look like we did in the terrible first preseason game.
  5. Until the correct leadership is implemented with a real plan on how to build this new era, we are going to remain status quo
  6. But who cares at this point? We keep rolling out the same group that gets zero separation besides Thielen week after week. Why not put these other hungry guys out there and see what they got?
  7. You're dead on here. We don't have the authority figure (HC), or over the top personality (Cam), to really be creating the next era of the Panthers. I have mentioned it before in another thread, but so far we have had two defining eras that both led to Super Bowls and they both had core players and strong coaches (for the time) that were integral to the success and identity. John Fox era - Jake Delhomme Steve Smith Julius Peppers Kris Jenkins Ron Rivera era - Cam Luke TD Greg Olsen Right now... Frank Reich is the uncle at the end of Thanksgiving who's had too much to drink but won't go to bed. Bryce? I just don't see that personality or play like any of the players mentioned above from him so far, or magically appearing in the future. Brian Burns has never impressed me and he should have been cast off for the picks last year. We have no identity or real leadership right now.
  8. I gotta say, I think overall that there is a level of complacency that has worked its way into everyones play like a virus, which was inserted by Reich's personality and overall demeanor. How can this same OL go from being close to "very good" last year when Wilks took over, to turnstiles this year under this crew. They were playing like their hair was on fire at the end of the season and now they just stand there after getting blown by. I might be grasping at straws here, but look at Ickey in the post game interview - motherfuger was laughing after getting his 1st round ass taken to the woodshed. I really do not think they are taking things too seriously and have bought into the laissez-faire attitude implemented by our dear HC. It is systematic poison being brought into that locker room from the top down.
  9. In a nutshell, this is the answer to everything
  10. I know it’s a completely insane idea, but at this point why double down on mistakes? New pres of operations = new GM = new coaching staff. Acquire as many picks as possible through firesale. Let Dobbs get his chance here and we have a 1st to use in 2025 if it doesn’t work out. = Prosper
  11. Ah yes, this game will be immortalized in the archives of the Football HOF. The D2 Brenton Bersin vs #1 Overall pick "The battle of the idiots with no arms in a slap fight contest" Bears - 5, Panthers - 3 Brenton Bersin - 215 yds Bryce Young - 132 yds
  12. I bet on a good amount of Cardinals games this year so I got to see him play a few weeks, and tbh, the dude is playing better than half the starters in this league.
  13. Seeing that Josh Dobbs can literally go anywhere and make things happen, who would be opposed to the full reset that includes offloading Bryce, Burns, anyone we can get anything from, firing the GM, firing the staff - a FULL clean reset - and getting Dobbs here to get it going to keep games exciting (I also know this is outrageous, overreacting, and not possible, but fug it, I am just laughing at this disaster now)
  14. Maaaaan, that is what I thought too.
  15. That, sir, is incorrect. But thank you for your highly intellectual response.
  16. And let's take a look at the product on the field ie the team that those "smarter" people have built... Fit has compiled the worst roster known to man completely devoid of talent and depth at important positions.
  17. CJ Stroud would look competent and capable behind this line and in this offense.
  18. People with credentials will continue to say he will be fine and carry the water buckets for the Panthers as a business. John Ellis will tell everyone to continue to be patient, Bryce will be magical, blah blah blah. People with eyeballs will realize he was the wrong pick and we fuged the pooch royally here. He doesn't have "it", nor the physical tools to be a high performer in this league unless he has a STACKED team around him like Brock Purdy.
  19. At the end of last season I wrapped it up +$30k on NFL betting. Trending that direction this season as well. Just hit on Smith Jr. First TD and Anytime TD - $60 into $590
  20. I would have to disagree here. As the season moves along and the cream rises to the top and the duds sink to the bottom (Panthers), the betting gets pretty simple. Last Sunday was a $3k weekend off $500 strictly off ML and >200 passing yard parlays.
