I thought our owner had some savvy and outbid others for a high potential guy. It was a huge plus to me that he was an offensive line guy and would understand the importance of o line. WRONG. Passed up several elite talents in the past 2 years and we have the worst oline i can remember. I could deal with all that if we didnt mortgage our future and just stuck to rebuilding. Trading assets for darnold and cbs will bury this guy

I really think matts too deep with darnold to cut him now. he will trot him out again next year. The 5th year option will forever puzzle me

we have below average qbs and no dogs on the o line. bad o line play is a snowball effect that ruins all players confidence and changes playcalling. Anyone who thinks switching to a better qb alone is going to change anything are mistaken. They will be injured and ruined too.

Not sure many qbs could play eith this o line and coaching. Theres plenty of reasons a good qb isnt interested in coming here
