"states rights" is a euphemism. the CSA was trying to drum up support from foreign nations and realized that everyone was gagging over their disgusting slavery agenda, so they repackaged it as "states rights" to make it more palatable to any european powers willing to fight a proxy war against america.

ftr the battle flag was pretty much a forgotten relic of the war until the KKK picked it up in the 1950s and 60s as a political symbol of their opposition to desegregation. this poo should've been buried half a century ago.

i wouldn't mind cotchery's marginal production if he didn't do stuff like pull up short on routes in playoff games. young guys can learn from a slow but savvy vet, but imo he seems mistake-prone without any of the athletic ability or youth to make up for it.

what the hell happened to klein, anyway? he had a damn good 2013 campaign and looked like the future of the position over chase blackburn.

i would personally hate to see joe webb lose a position on the team over cotchery. if we're down to our sixth receiver we're boned anyway, and he provides a useful special teams option and an emergency quarterback who fits our offensive scheme.

god i love this team

one advantage of drafting well is you have a lot of talent on your team, and therefore a lot of competition. this breeds chippy practices. i hope this is a sign of things to come in training camp, especially with rivera being notoriously lackluster when it comes to developing attitude and intensity in the camp itself. it's a shame to see poo-pooing the fight, and i hope that's just coachspeak for the media.
