  1. huge and super fast. knocks are he needs to be coached up... that's rhule's MO. this guy should've gone in the first and we parlayed a pair of thirds in exchange for letting him fall in our lap. outstanding management from fitts.
  2. i really would've been psyched with JOK. hope it was worth it
  3. well if hurney picked him in the second we dodged a whole ass bullet
  4. if fitts is worth his paycheck we get two starters and a great backup today.
  5. you can still press in zones and tangle up the receiver before you release him to the next level. ideally horn is a guy who takes away some of those quick hitter options and forces the QB to look for another man. this could be game changing on passing downs.
  6. i really want linemen but having an elite defense will really help if we're looking to bring darnold along like he's a rookie. that said we'd better make a trade if somebody we like at tackle slides down the board. i'd love to have at least one new starter on that line going into the season.
  7. very underwhelming at 8, but if he's worth it he'll be a game changer. right? right???
  8. they aren't made in good faith. they're using player health as props to bleat about meaningless heritage. we know this because they categorically resist all attempts to improve player safety. they are crying over grass.
  9. that is the exact point that all the massive babies unencumbered by brains bawling in the other thread about it need hammered between their ears
  10. my litmus test is that if mr scot is wailing about it it's probably a good move
  11. that's what this boils down to. turf has zero effect on fans or on the aesthetics of the game (unless you like mud pits, which are dangerous to players.) if nfl fans cared about player safety they'd turn off their televisions and bankrupt the sport because it's a modern day gladiator sport, and they'd support every single measure to change the rules to improve player safety, but instead they reflexively bitch the second a ref throws a flag on a linebacker for driving his helmet into the side of another man's head. no, reflexive bitching is woven into the fabric of the american football fan whose inherent selfishness reveals itself in castrated heritage arguments.
