per WFNZ and @Cary Kollins it's a done deal, cams on his way to practice
-
aren't we a half a game out? absolutely it is
-
no way. they see this as being half a game out of the playoffs trying to save jobs.
-
oh poo his first home game would be against the redskins lmao

what???? no chance. trotting out this O-line is actually the biggest knock against the front office i just defended. teddy looks serviceable because he has a line + less psi holding the two-yard balls back
-
i mean fitts has been here for one offseason, so the numbers don't exactly stack up in his favor. his guys are mostly free agents on a cash strapped hurney'd salary cap and rookies (who are either injured or playing on an offense missing some chromosomes.) front office is still in better shape than it was under hurney and it ain't even close.

i'm far from sold on matt rhule but programs take a while to build. I'm down with letting fitts take another year to build the roster before making a final decision.
-
ehh it was a coin toss whether he could be fixed or not. just doesn't have it between the ears. or we have a coaching staff equal to or worse than the jets either way fug us!
-
Tepper, I know you read this board...fug you

yep. badly undermanned and outclassed but they bought into their team and their coaches and each other. no one on this team looks like they're fighting for anything intangible. that's on the coaches. wasn't this supposed to be matt rhule's big selling point?
-
When things go to hell teams need a culture to fall back on, something they've all bought into that they can lean on to stabilize and start pushing again. That's usually something coaches instill when they install a program. For all his flaws, Rivera brought a culture and built it into the DNA of his players and deliberately cultivated it. What culture has Matt Rhule brought to the Panthers? What is he trying to get them to buy in to? Is there anything definable? I can't put my finger on anything at all. This team feels rudderless, not just on the field, but philosophically. That's bad.

huh

not the point. it's a punk ass move, conduct unbecoming. isn't he a fuging team captain on top of being the NFL's drop leader? did anyone yell at him when he couldn't catch the two-yard passes he's finally hauling in?
-
i used to put a lot of time and effort into watching games while traveling overseas... i'll be gone most of december and now i won't think twice about the games outside of checking the box score sunday nights. this was it for me
-
to be honest that's a sucker move on anderson's part. you don't see receivers do that. even steve smith sat down next to jake delhomme and told him he liked him after a 5-INT performance. poo like that can crack a team.
