  1. Facts are excuses. Lmfao. Plus I'm not exactly a Wilks fanatic.
  2. And another thing with Payton, he can't agree to a contract til he's traded. It can't even be announced he's agreed to be a head coach for a new team til he's officially traded.
  3. Payton contract runs through 2024, it would be a trade next season as well.
  4. He isn't done with round 1 interviews and we know at least one team wants to bring him in for round 2. The Panthers also haven't finished round 1 interviews yet, and may want him in to have a round 2 with Tepper as well.
  5. The bucs game is still misrepresented, two of the covers should've had some semblance of help, while one of them should have had direct help over the top because the call was cover 2 and the safety missed badly.
  6. Never said he should get hired in that post, I said he did an outstanding job. Which he did.
  7. It was outstanding. He had no QB at all, using someone else's coaching staff, not his players and it was a roster that for the large part had only won 11 games out of the last 38 games. Only difference from 11-27 to 6-6 was Wilks being the Head Coach. The roster isn't good and needs upgrades at DE, LB, NT, WR, TE, Safety, and most importantly QB. To say what he did was not outstanding if blindness
  8. It was definitely an accomplishment, he did an outstanding job. Especially so given the situation he was put in.
  9. Why I said the interview with Arizona is a ploy (he wants full control) and his non second interview with Denver has Carolina in the lead but he needs to drum up interest to get his asking price salary wise.
  10. Rumblings in the last few hours have Quinn as the favorite to land the job in Denver with Bevell as his OC. He's doing a second interview this week at some point with the Broncos.
  11. That's correct. Caldwell interviewed first then Wilks.
  12. That's the one from the Athletic I was talking about.
  13. Denver - Quinn Carolina - Payton Arizona - Flores Texans - Gannon Indy - Morris This would be my guess.
  14. It was known from the start he was wanting 20-25m a season.
  15. I don't think Denver was a serious choice because of the contract Wilson had and the fact they won't make Patton give up control as gm.
  16. Either that or going back to fox. Kinda a coin flip that I'm leaning toward Carolina with Arizona being a ploy to make Carolina move to hire him.
  17. Also from that Athletic article, growing belief in the league that Payton doesn't lead for the Broncos job. Makes me think he finally agreed to meet them for leverage purposes with Carolina to make sure he gets the 20m a year deal he wants.
  18. He wouldn't have done the interview in person, he'd have just done a zoom like he did with the Texans. He wants the job, at the very least he's interested in it.
  19. And that was Denver saving face if you ask me, Payton never scheduled or agreed to fly in tentatively for a second interview when the Cardinals interview was going to be on Thursday
  20. Second interview with Denver has been delayed, only interview left for Payton this week is the one with Arizona that's in person in Arizona.
  21. It lines up with national reports that said Denver hadn't even moved onto narrowing down for second interviews yet.
  22. Steve Reed reported earlier that he thinks Kafka, Moore and Dorsey are hard sells to Tepper now because of the way they performed in the playoffs.
  23. Person, I think alluded to thus earlier, saying a lot of false information being thrown about.
