  1. Not many first round graded players in this draft. I'd say most teams will have 14-15 players in this draft with 1st round value. Think that's why there was so many trades
  2. I wouldn't be surprised if he falls towards the end of round 2. Hooker definitely goes r2 and over Levis imo.
  3. Not surprised by the Texans trading back up to 3
  4. I believe you and I know that Bryce is the pick, but I find it strange that an old school coaching staff and front office would want a 5-10, 175 ilb qb at #1 overall. Doesn't make any damn sense at all. If he was 5-10 and stocky that's a different story, but when he's at his playing weight, that's just scary in the NFL.
  5. To add to that, I still don't think this is a front office and coaching staff pick.
  6. My concern with Bryce and why I never thought he would be the pick is his playing weight at Bama was apparently 175to180ish and that is crazy for a first overall qb
  7. He got 5m more total contract value and 6m more guaranteed. My question is what is fully guaranteed.. Hurts had 179 guaranteed but only 110 was fully guaranteed.
  8. 5 year 260m Guarantee is 185m Just barely eclipse that ridiculous Jalen Hurts contract.
  9. Best guess 5 years 275m 200m guaranteed
  10. I've seen Stroud as #4 or #5 from some people close to certain teams. AR was #2 on the Panthers board. Stroud was #3 in a close battle with Levis. I would not be surprised if Stroud is the 4th or 5th qb taken in the mid teens.
  11. I remember when he got murdered on here for breaking the Smith being cut story. Yeesh
  12. Why bring up levis then? I said I don't think he was ever in the conversation.
  13. I don't think Levis was ever in the conversation. I also don't think Stroud was either, despite the rumors that the coaches and front office didn't want Young at all and wanted Stroud. One such site that actually mentions that rumor is walterfootball. To add I 100% think AR was the original target in the trade up and Tepper nixed it.
  14. Slowly and surely sounds like who we are picking isn't who we thought we'd pick when we traded up.
  15. Anyone with more solid contacts with the team confirm that? Cause I've also heard most of the team [front office] wants AR and he was the target since #3 was also in play for a move up, but Tepper over ruled everyone and is making the pick Young.
  16. The trade was done with 30 seconds left. Minnesota called it in, ravens say they tried but couldn't reach the league representative doing trades at the draft.
  17. Still a chance that Houston decides to go for Young and makes a trade. Small chance but still there. Also a few want AR over Young. So 75/25 sounds right. AR killed it in meetings with teams, if his tape was a little bit more consistent, he'd be the pick imo.
  18. He turned down a 4 year deal with 175 fully guaranteed reportedly earlier this off-season as well. Plus a non fully guaranteed deal that would have made him the highest paid nfl qb. Word is he wants 5 years, fully guaranteed and to be the highest paid qb in the same contract.
  19. Trying to get Houston to bite and give up some picks and then get AR at #2.
  20. I honestly don't care about his combined performance, it's what I've heard about his whiteboard work and meetings more than anything. Considering he's the only one of the top three qb's with prototypical nfl frame and size.
  21. Why I've said you take AR and hope you can fix his footwork. If it hits, you've got a superstar. If it doesn't hit you've got an exciting player who can run and can make deep throws off play action. Both the other two top QB's have frame / size issues and with CJ there are other red flags for sure.
  22. This gonna shock people Nfl red flags... he's got the least by looking at tape. Stroud actually has a narrow build and has pocket issues when he isn't cleanly protected. Young has a slight build and is small in height which is a huge red flag in the NFL. I mean he's not even as thickly built as Murry. Richardson has mechanic issues that look fixable and lack of college experience compared to the above 2... That lack of experience is actually a good thing in his case because that makes you think the mechanics are fixable and word about his work ethic and football iq makes me think he'll work his ass off to fix them and succeed doing so.
  23. Clearly Stroud Clean pocket needed, narrow build Plan b issues.
