  1. Miller has a new number with the Canes. #19.
  2. Rumors where that NY offered him 7.5-8m and he immediately told them no. A few other teams offered similar deals to the NY one and that Washington was willing to go over 9m AAV to sign Ehlers, so kinda why I expected it to be higher. However fair enough.
  3. Another good thing about Ehlers is he can play both wing spots. So if they do try Jarvis at 2c, team would look like this. Svechnikov - Aho - Ehlers Hall - Jarvis - Blake Martinook - Staal - Stankoven Robinson - KK - Carrier Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Ghost - Walke Andersen Kotchekov Does that get past Florida tho...
  4. Trip mentioned Larkin on the gold show as a possible target...
  5. With Ehlers, you're buying into him going up another level with more playing time and staying healthy. If he stays healthy he will definitely get more playing time in Carolina. The Jets massively underplayed him
  6. Yea they do. Don't think they are at it yet either. Lol
  7. Puck Pedia has them at 10.6m, according to a tweet they sent.
  8. Tulsky putting in work. I like both the Miller deal and this one. 8.5m AAV for Ehlers is lot less than I expected.
  9. Kevin Weeks says that Carolina won the Ehlers bidding. No one else confirming it.
  10. With Ehlers, it's all about money from what I've heard. Still expecting the Canes to sign him at around 9.5m AAV unless it's gone up again. Others is mostly geographic location. Raleigh isn't a very big city that's what a lot of young couples want "Ranatan and Marner"
  11. Orlov got a two year deal with San Jose worth 6.5m AAV.
  12. Elhers at 7 x 9.5AAV is what I'm expecting.
  13. His agent trying to get him the most money possible. Only three teams in it. Utah, Washington and Carolina.
  14. Brent Burns signed with Colorado with a one year deal.
  15. Vegas is under the cap because of Pietrangelo going on LTIR.
  16. Down to Carolina and Washington for Ehlers.
  17. Have to pair them like this for it to work, imo. Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Walker Ghosty - Chatfield I'd prefer something different but that's probably what we end up with unless Ghost is traded to one of the 17 teams not on his MNTC.
  18. Last I heard reported that he was down to a couple of teams with Carolina being one of them.
  19. Conditions on the 2026 1st Round Pick: - If neither pick (DAL or NYR) is in the top ten of the 2026 draft, the Rangers shall receive the better of the two 2026 first round draft picks. - If one pick is in the top ten and the other is not, the top ten pick shall not be transferred and New York shall receive the lesser of the two first round picks. - If both picks are in the top ten of the 2026 draft, New York shall receive the better of Carolina's 2027 first round pick and Dallas's 2027 first round pick. Pretty sure that's supposed to be Car and not NYR on the first part but I copied this from Seravalli
  20. His contract wouldn't be bad if Staal had retired like everyone thought he was going to do and KK was on the third line where he's supposed to be. Problem is that Staal didn't retire so team is stuck with two third line centers.
  21. Maybe, that first might not convey and it ends up being a second and Morrow for him.
  22. It's a heavy conditional first with protections and a second with Morrow. Morrow was getting traded no matter what because his organizational value has plummeted recently.
  23. Miller also probably QB's one of the PP with Nikishin and/or Ghost on the other.
