  1. 68 on 951 snaps vs 90 on 748 snaps for last season.
  2. Burns has played 3019 snaps vs Bosa at 2432 snaps. That equates to a sack every .012 for Burns vs .017 snaps for Bosa
  3. .22 sacks per game or 3.7 sacks a season. Just putting the numbers out for people, so they don't have to do math.
  4. Another thing I'd like to add that I think is being overlooked here. Is that those contracts for Joey Bosa and the others were signed a few seasons ago and a lot of the value is from cap% overall. So even if say Burns gets 29m which is more than Joey got, he will be making less % based on the overall cap numbers now. Nick actually got the same cap % as his brother did back when he signed his deal. They are essentially the same contract value wise based on cap numbers
  5. If I was to say for sure on what Burns ends up getting, this is my best guess right now. 5 years, 142.5m with 90m guaranteed
  6. Oh and to add no way Burns and his agent accept anything below 25m because that's what Bosa is getting on average in guaranteed money. Think 28-30m on salary and 60-70% of contract value as fully guaranteed
  7. League has values for positions based on player performance on what would be considered ltbe and nltbe
  8. I get what you are saying but that's not how contracts work. Burns will be the 2nd highest edge player after he signs and then in 2 years he will be 5th or 6th in pay. That's how contracts work for the most part in the NFL. Best player sets new precedent and bar, then other players get little above or close to that bar and that repeats over the length of the best players contract.
  9. Anything thats considered unlikely to be earned would get added as a bonus to the next year's salary. It's the incentives that are considered ltbe that need to be included in the cap for the current season.
  10. They would be considered ultbe and if he hit them, it would be added to the next seasons cap.
  11. He was a full participant otherwise they'd have to list his as limited.
  12. That's not how contracts are done though. Burrows is about to well be the highest paid player in the NFL by quite a bit. Parsons is going to crush this Bosa deal next year with an aav of 36-38m.
  13. If I knew Bosa was asking for 34m and the niners wanted 31.5...then yea I'm sure all of the NFL knew.
  14. He's going to get 80-100m guaranteed and 28-30m aav. Puts him in the new 2nd tier of pass rusher contracts.
  15. 49ers caved and went up to 34m aav, his aav guarantee is 24.5m. Completely reset the market for edges. 28-30m is 2nd tier pass rushers now. That's why Burns waited.
  16. And Burns asking for 30m puts him in a different tier making 4m less. Smart agent.
  17. 5 year 170m with 122.5 guaranteed 49ers caved and gave him the 34m aav he was asking for.
  18. Yea... don't know how serious the talks are but they've definitely happened. Insanity to me
  19. We will find out today if he's going to play or not. If he plans on playing he'll be at practice going through it.
  20. Word is that 49ers are actually fielding calls for Bosa as they don't want to budge the gap from their offer of 28m up to what Bosa asked for which is at least 31.5m aav.
  21. They would have to free up more space. Jimmy restructuring got them cap compliant as they were over by 7m.
  22. I think he's lost the coaches that made him as good as he was and he hasn't been able to replace them but I do agree it would be silly to fire him. I just won't be surprised if it happens
  23. Look at their boards. Calling for his head already.
