Last note, he said in a pre game interview that he made his decision to not resign in Carolina last week.

He’s going to be given the chance to be a top 3 forward and a top line PP player here in Carolina for the rest of the season. Still under term for this year and next, then rfa for 2026 based on data from puck and sporttrac. so he’s definitely got a chance.
