Not much Freddie could’ve done with that since it tipped off chatfields stick. That said they are outplaying the canes so far in the 2nd -

That slow play was beautiful to watch -
Here is an article. Link

I figured he meant a lb swap. Lol
-
This team is being set up to run 35-40 times a game. Passing when not off play action will be quick half field reads as much as possible. Most of the game he’s going to be handing the ball off and making one/two read progressions off play action. that’s what I meant by hiding him. They’ve already said they will need all three rb’s and all will see the field.
-
I’m curious to this one? Wilson medical was a giant red flag bomb. Dude is completely missing an acl
-
Then why are they building an offense that nearly hides him? Heavy run with play action. Means he won’t be throwing a lot and the throws he does make will be easier ones and he won’t have to go through progressions as much.
-
He’s not really gonna get a chance to ball out, they are going to protect the hell out of him this season and look like a 1990’s offense with running the ball 35-40 times a game and asking him to make 15 passes mostly off play action.

Day 3 picks have like a 10% and lower hit rate. Most teams miss on them

Panthers Select Trevin Wallace LB - Pick 72, Round 3
carpanfan96 replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
Wilson doesn’t have an ACL in one of his knees. I’m honestly surprised he was drafted. -
Yea we met with him. I’ve been thinking he was the pick and if he’s not there then Stover.
-
There’s a huge difference and gap between Benson and Brooks and that’s validated in their draft stock. High 30’s/low 40’s compared to high 50’s and low 60’s.
-
Sanders and or Stover should be available at 72.
-
Most teams only had 15 players with first round grade. Then a big mess of 2nd tier players with 2nd/3rd values and then a drop off again around 100 or so. So teams gonna take the players they want in that big 2nd tier grade
-
Both were going to draft him. It’s why they jumped both. Thought he would last to 52 but got word he wouldn’t and moved. Got the player they was going to take at 39 and picked up a 2nd. also there is a huge gap between Brooks and Benson
-
Look for Sanders or Stover in the third at 65.

ALERT: Mike Garafalo, Panthers taking RB in 2nd round
carpanfan96 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Pretty big gap ranking and projection wise between Benson and Brooks. look for Stover in the 3rd. -
I like Pran-Granger in the 4th if he makes it. Good value at that point as well.
-
Probably the plan. :shrugs:
-
Yes Brooks is immediately the best RB on the team and will start. “He’ll be ready for training camp.”

ALERT: Mike Garafalo, Panthers taking RB in 2nd round
carpanfan96 replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I get if you don’t like RB in the 2nd because of position value but draft wise he was ranked in the high 30’s to low 40’s and wasn’t a reach at all. -
Huge reach for Frazier. Rated in the mid to high 60’s by most places. Sucks cause wanted him in the 3rd but the 2nd too rich.
-
Could possibly see Frazier at 65
