Scottie gives a HELL of an interview and a press conference. He will sell a lot of people if he gets the job… the board’s tune will change. But it’s all BS. Snake oil. Just go watch his introductory press conference when he took the ECU job… then compare that speech with his awful results.

Scottie Montgomery is the worst coach to still have a job in football. The fact that he’s being interviewed is mind blowing.

I read we are interviewing Scottie Montgomery. The fact that he’s even under minor consideration tells me that we’re going to pour gasoline on this dumpster fire. He is the worst thing to ever happen to ECU football, and when we fired him, he went and got fired from Maryland as well. The guy flat out sucks.

He turned around Temple and Baylor. That was enough to land him in Charlotte. Maybe awesome is hyperbole. He was a very good college coach. He did something right in the college ranks and he speaks VERY well and knows how to sell himself. If we fire him, I’m sure he’ll end up back in college somewhere as a P5 HC.

This is the stupidest annual argument made by angry fans. Of COURSE the Panthers would destroy Alabama. We may suck by NFL standards but this team would win the national championship every year.

I think Matt Rhule is an awesome college football coach. He says the right things and deserved a shot in the NFL. It hasn’t worked out. I don’t hate him. I think he’ll go back to the college ranks and be successful again. I put the blame on Tepper. He cares more about championing social issues and building his portfolio than winning football games. The guy is a billionaire Steelers fan… he owns a soccer team now, too. He’s not a very good owner, to say the least.

Cam has ALWAYS held the ball too long. Cam holding the ball too long isn’t the problem.

It’s already not worth my time. I’m still going to watch whenever I can, in the hopes that we get better. But I’m not holding my breath.

I remember a simpler time when the only crappy lineman we had to complain about was Amini Silatolu. He’d probably be an anchor on this line.
