Jerry Richardson was a great owner and is owed our gratitude. He didn’t deserve all the crap that came from the fanbase at the end. His statue also needs to go back up.

Wish Holton Ahlers would have gotten an invite to this one. This past month has been awesome for him, and makes me wonder if he wasn’t properly utilized at ECU. Birmingham Bowl MVP Hula Bowl MVP NFLPA Bowl MVP At minimum I think he deserves a shot in a training camp.

Happy enough with the hire. Hopeful, at least. At bare minimum, he’s a guy who has been a head coach in the NFL and works with QB’s. We could have done much worse and I think this was Tepper’s “safe” pick.

Maybe should have moved a safety over the top to cover Mike Evans after his 1st or even 2nd touchdown and you’d still be coach.

My wife as well. She was a horse trainer in Dallas during the Romo years and had season tickets. It’s a hurdle for sure.

Worth a look as a later round pick. 1,000 yard receiver this year. Big, physical WR (6’2” 223lbs).. initiates contact. Wins all the 50/50 balls. Serious mean streak for a WR… plays the position like a linebacker. He will be at the combine so we’ll see… his 40 time is his biggest drawback, but it doesn’t hold him back on tape.

One of the most electrifying guys in college football. Hate that he declared.

The Panthers got me interested in the NFL. I moved to Winston-Salem from New York when I was 6 years old, and neither of my parents were football fans, really. I was a big Wake Forest basketball fan since my dad played there back in the 70’s, but football? Not so much. I was 11 when the Panthers were formed, and I watched a few games the first year. Then, from ‘96 until now, I’ve watched most every game. When I lived in Charlotte from ‘08-‘10, I went to every home game. Apathy is a hell of a thing. The past several years have been hard to watch, and now with 2 kids, I find even less of a reason to tune in every week to watch us lose. My kids, despite the sucking, are Panthers fans - so there’s that. I really hope we can turn it around, because I really miss being super passionate about the Panthers. It just seems like Tepper doesn’t care.. and if he of all people doesn’t care, why should I?

Jake Verity was waived by the Colts and just signed with the Jaguars… today, I believe. Bad timing. Great kicker.

Baker is a really good QB. Not sure why this is a surprise. He brought the Browns to the playoffs and went 8-9 with a busted shoulder. He’s a massive upgrade from what we had on the roster pre-Baker. He’s a bonafide NFL starting caliber QB.

It doesn’t matter if we don’t fix the OL. Deshaun Watson will look like PJ Walker behind this line. I see him checking out mentally after taking a beating the first few weeks behind this OL.
