  1. They did ok. We really won't know until the games are played. At least they didn't draft a LB early. There was a lot of talk about guys falling due to COVID and not playing. And that did seem to happen. The question will be if they will do the same thing next year.
  2. Yes. A kicker would have been a perfect way to end the draft.
  3. This is the first draft I can remember that the Panthers didn't draft a LB
  4. Good point. Isn't there some journeymen vet QBs still out there? If not, and if Vinnie T is still alive, maybe they can talk him to come back one more time.
  5. If Grier sees the field, it might net the Panthers a top three pick. Start looking at next year's QBs so you can drive a new bus.
  6. I'm not convinced yet, but I'm hopeful. Won't know for sure until they play this upcoming season.
  7. Nope. They skipped the Panthers entirely.
  8. You just want to corner the market are good names on one team.
  9. Nah. I got tired of seeing you guys argue. Great news for the Hornets though.
  10. More good news for Carolina/Charlotte sports fans.
  11. Maybe, maybe not. Regardless it is the course those in charge are taking.
  12. They are from a price stand point. The rookies will be cheaper.
  13. Only the D1 guys. Everyone else is a 3rd
  14. The GM must love this song and think it applies to the draft
  15. Do the Panthers get a trophy for having the most points? I always thought the draft was for adding good, young, cheap players instead of points. Silly me.
  16. That's why you do what they did in the first and take the guy you want where you are at instead of trying to play everyone else.
  17. Most of those guys I listed wouldn't be in the hall of fame or multi time mvps if teams didn't stick with them or if other teams didn't give them another chance either. Sometimes it takes guys more than three years to get it together no matter the sport.
  18. Is Cam Newton a good QB? He's thrown more interceptions the last two years than touchdowns. Was Jake Delhomme a good QB? He had some seasons he threw more interceptions. How about Brett Favre? Yep, he had seasons he threw more interceptions too. Peyton Manning? Him too. Terry Bradshaw? Yeah, him also. You can go on and on. The point being the majority of QBs have had years where they threw more picks than TDs, mostly in their first few years or just before retiring. They all had chances or are still getting chances. Let Darnold have his chance too.
