  1. Stafford has played for a long time now(13 pro seasons) and made a lot of money doing so. He is probably looking short term at this point and might not want to play beyond his current contract. Going to a team that is ready to win it now or in the next year or two makes a lot more sense for him than going to a team that is rebuilding like the Panthers. Don't take his decision personally. It's not like he insulted you.
  2. Not his loss. The Rams are a lot further along than the Panthers and are a lot more ready to compete. He made a good decision for himself at this point in his career. As Sho'nuff stated, it is what it is.
  3. Yep. I know there are a lot of people here thinking the Panthers could get into the playoffs this season, but I think it'll be at least another season before that happens, probably two seasons. The Oline and QB are still question marks. So is kicker. Honestly the Oline worries me more than the QB does. Beyond that the defense has holes still and depth in general is a concern.
  4. People have been saying this for years and yet the position keeps on trucking.
  5. He couldn't practice because someone stepped on his foot?
  6. The last time the Panthers had a really good stable of WRs were the Smitty, Moose, and Proehl days. And that was such a long time ago. As for the contract, good for Robbie getting paid.
  7. Best women's promotions' Youtube channels: Marvelous *Owned by Chigusa Nagayo who aslo owned GAEA. Chigusa is arguably one of the most impactful wrestlers, male or female, of all time. She influenced a generation of girls and women in Japan back in the 80s and 90s. Sendai Girls *Owned by Meiko Satomura who is currently working NXT UK. Wave *Owned by a corporation, but ran by former women wrestlers. Pure-J *Owned by Command Bolshoi, a highly respected former female wrestler in Japan. Diana *Owned by Kyoko Inoue, another highly respected former female wrestler. OZ-Academy *Owned by Mayumi Ozaki, another highly respected female wrestler. She hasn't retired yet. SEAdLINNNG *Owned by Nanae Takahashi, yet another highly respected female wrestler. Also still active. Ice Ribbon *Owned by a man or corporation, but booked by a woman. Stardom *Owned by Bushiroad, which also owns NJPW. Ran and booked by the former owner. GAEA *This promotion is defunct. The Youtube channel was created as part of the promotion's 25th anniversary celebration. One men's promotion channel: New Japan *Men's only promotion that has produced some of the best actual wrestling anywhere in the world over the last decade.
  8. The Oline is liable to make the Titanic look like a pleasure cruise. Joking aside, I agree with you for the most part. I think getting more reps in the new system will help Darnold more in the long run as will actual game situations, but if doesn't play, he doesn't play.
  9. My opinion leading up to the draft after they traded for Darnold was to give him a chance without having to look over his shoulder. They did that and didn't bring in another QB. Now it's time to see if he can do his part. Yes, it's preseason and the games "don't matter", but it is still a game situation and not practice which will give a good idea of where he is at when the defense doesn't have to pull up.
  10. Rhule's leash is at least two years long. The five year rebuild will give him at least four years unless he quits.
  11. Putting him out there with less than ideal conditions would be better in the long run if they really want to see if he can be the guy.
  12. Is Rhule worried this will happen to him? The Panthers Oline?
  13. Ouch. Yeah, that sucks. I agree that ATT is crap. Sadly, they are the only mobile carrier that works well in the old farmhouse I live in. The steep metal roof kills other signals too much.
  14. No Bally sports with whatever TV option you're using? I remember last season people complained when the Hornets had a national game because Dell and Eric weren't calling it. That was shocking.
  15. Yep. But it's up to the station, not the Hornets themselves to do so. The radio broadcast is up to the Hornets which is why old Uncle Steve got one last ride after Collins replaced him for the TV broadcasts.
  16. I really like how they are leaning into the Eric Collins hype from last season.
  17. Maybe it is MJ saying thanks, but it still feels like a mistake. Miles and PJ will want extensions soon as well and those won't be cheap either. Plus Mitch recently said they wanted to stay cap flexible. This overpay for Terry is not a way of doing that.
