So far Ball has missed everything including a dumb super long 3 pointer attempt, Cody Martin has tried to go coast to coast when that's just not his game, PJ has missed most of his shots, and Bridges hasn't looked that good either. On the plus side, McDaniels looks alright.

Injury report: Starters:

Cue rants about childhoods and that this isn't the real Superman

I'd rather keep him on the team too, but I'm not the coach or GM.
-
I don't see them letting him walk for nothing, but I can see them using him as a centerpiece in a trade.
-
Yep. Imagine the outrage if the team lets Moore walk since they resigned Anderson.
-
I don't know if extending Anderson was a bad decision, but it could be a poor one. They have Moore, drafted two receivers, and had a few others that weren't terrible. Anderson's cap space could have been used elsewhere. It could have went to Moore, Burns, Oline free agents, or others.

It’s PFF. But I’m not sure this is good

Take a page from the Waterboy and try the social media interns or something like that at center. -
Rhule blames the D when asked about offensive struggles

I'll take your word for it. Until I clicked to see why Rhule was trending, I had never heard of him before. -

Oh, I agree it's not intelligent to carry on a conversation about something you haven't seen or read. That said, it doesn't stop people from doing so. I wouldn't doubt that part of the reason the defense collapsed yesterday was doing to being demoralized from watching the offense do nothing half the game. Most people give up at some point, and those guys might have reached their point collectively and said forget* it. *(self edit for people's favorite fu**ing word) -

It's not just low IQ people. I've seen plenty of people with high IQs get fooled too. The biggest problem is that common sense isn't common. -

I haven't seen the whole press conference, but this is how easy it is to take something out of context or frame a discussion these days. One clip with the proper inflammatory headline and people are all over it. As Facebook has proven, hate sells. -

The OP may have gotten his title and post from this twitter thread -
The first three games of the season, people were saying Darnold could be the guy. Now, after two bad ones, people are ready to jump ship. For better or worse, he's the QB until he gets injured(quite possible with the way the Oline is playing) or gets benched(highly unlikely) this season and gets to prove if he can be the guy or not. He might be the QB next season too since they picked up his option. With the bad QB play some teams are seeing and with the subpar performances from the media darlings at the college level, if Watson clears his legal issues, the Texans are going to be asking for multiple picks and players once more. Are you prepared for the team to give all that up, plus take on Watson's contract, and probably not be able to field a good team around him? We saw what happened with a good QB, Cam, and a subpar team around him for a decade. Let's not do that again. Keep building the team, rebuild the Oline, and then go all in on a rookie like the Chiefs did.

Maybe because Thomas was given more plays than Trimble.

Watching Rashawn Slater be great makes me sad and angry.

There is no way of knowing that those trades would have been available when they drafted Horn. So, taking Horn still makes sense since corner was a big need too. Personally, I would have taken Slater since I believe he would have impacted the game more if he played every game as part of the Oline that impacts every offensive snap. Corners, no matter how good, don't impact every defensive snap. -

But what if the coaches played Slater at guard and Erving at tackle? Or vice versa? Either way might have improved the interior line as well. -
The Oline gave me concern, and then there was the Darnold question, so that's why I thought 7-9.
-
Perhaps. Enjoy this video though.

I wanted Oline early and often in the draft too, but The draft is over and done with. Dwelling on what might have been isn't going to help this team and will probably only depress you.
