  1. Eh, no. The Bucs are the current champs and should be pretty good. Then there is the Chiefs in the AFC. Plus there are the other contenders. On top of all that, Rodgers is starting to get up there in age(37 now). How quick will he start breaking down and falling off despite just winning the MVP award. Brady is the exception, not the rule.
  2. Hopefully Bally is smart enough to want to keep him. If the management is the same ones that took Steph out of the booth, they might not be. She bailed shortly after she was demoted back to the sideline and Turner came calling.
  3. It would take a lot more than a first for me to move back 12 spots and miss out on all the guys the team considers the best prospects.
  4. Fairly sure. If you remember, it was the network that let Steve go and brought in Eric in the first place. Then the Hornets gave Steve the radio job for one last year before he retired.
  5. MJ has no say in the TV announcing team. They are signed and paid by the network.
  6. If the Panthers pass on a first round QB, especially Fields, there will be a lot of angry people here.
  7. They showed him at the home game yesterday. He was still in a boot. He probably won't be back this season.
  8. Cody has had a pretty decent game. He's one of those what if guys for me. Just way too many injuries over the years.
  9. Both those guys are probably a year away from being good on a night in and night out basis. Bridges also goes passive way too much.
  10. They've made a game of it in the third. Hopefully they can keep it up and pull out a win.
  11. The only way they could have lost that Washington game was to forfeit it. The Panthers were not good that game, but WFT was worse.
  12. Yeah. I've read he loves to call baseball too, so ESPN would make a lot of sense. Turner just got the NHL. It might be interesting to hear EC call a hockey game too. Hopefully he stays though. He does seem to love working with Dell.
  13. As I was told by a supervisor years ago, "Be a duck. Just let it roll off your back."
  14. Even Lawrence is a maybe. There is no way of telling until they play and that goes for Sam as well despite having NFL experience. I hope they don't take a QB in the second or third either, but they could, especially if they have doubts about Sam and draft a CB or whatever in the first.
  15. Rhule will be here for at least another year. Unless he quits. Brady is a different story. He'll probably get more HC looks since teams want to find the next great young offensive mastermind.
  16. The way people are acting like QBs are worth their weight in gold this year, none of the semi known names are going to last.
  17. And that answer is maybe. We just don't know what they think of Sam. Guess we'll find out tomorrow if a QB falls to them. If they pass of Fields or whoever at 8, take a tackle or whatever or trade back, and then take Mond, Trask, or some other QB in the second or later rounds, this place will explode. For the record, if they don't take one early, I think the Panthers will take a QB in the mid rounds since the GM has stated he likes taking a QB during those rounds to develop.
  18. You won the Tunderdome? Did you lose an eye? If so, did you get an eyepatch and turn the bus into a pirate bus?
  19. No reason not to give Sam the best chance to succeed by drafting an elite tackle prospect to protect him, if there, or an elite WR or TE, if there either. Kicking the tires on Sam this year doesn't mean they can't draft a QB next year if he sucks. Look at the Bucs, Chiefs, and other contending teams. They built the teams before getting the QB. The Panthers can do the same.
