You're looking at it wrong. It's not that the government cares more about other countries because they don't. The government cares about giving money to the ultra wealthy through the defense contractors. Even though they say they're giving 8 billion to Ukraine, they're not. All Ukraine is, is a proxy for the US and an excuse to keep defense spending up. The government is buying 8 billion worth of weapons, ammo, and such from US defense contractors, which profits the ultra wealthy. The US' use of innocent people and their deaths to enrich the already ultra wealthy is what should be a slap in the face, especially if you're a Christian.
