Part of me wants to be cautious. But the bigger part says the Panthers are what we think they are. The defense is going to shut them down. Cam is going show NY what a real NFL QB looks like. Against the pass D Cam is going to break the record for TD's in a game. The only thing that can slow this team down is Ron Rivera. (Not that I would blame him for calling off the dogs) Our GM is from the Giants and is NY through and through but don't think for a minute he doesn't want to show up his old team. We're not rolling up to teams hoping we can hang on and beat them. We're taking mofo's to the woodshed and every team we play from here on out is invited. Did you see Ron going postal on his team during the Atlanta game. No more second guessing, no more letting up on teams, no more southern hospitality. All any of you know is his 40 time and he wasn't a starter on the Packers. Gettlemen has stated again and again that you always need to be churning up the bottom of your roster. This is how we ended up with Fozzy. You keep turning over stones with some potential instead of staying with the same old stones waiting for something to happen. I love this about Gettlemen. This guy knows talent and if he sees something in the kid it's worth bringing him in to compete. He's a large target (which Cam loves) who runs good route. You never know.

I can see how D-lo would be hurt but I don't know why Jerry may have not reached out. Wish he had but it doesn't change my opinion of the big cat based on numerous other stories about him doing a lot of good and caring things. Humans are human. I've always loved D-lo since I heard his interview the night we drafted him. He's always ran hard and been a great RB. My only gripe about the guy is the time he tried to explain on facebook why a million dollars isn't a lot of money after taxes and you pay your agent. Then buy a car and a house. After that there's not much left.
