  1. Based on the end of our draft Smith Barno and Barnes (The freak show) and this comment I think Fitterer is putting the pressure where it belongs now - on the coaches. Almost as important as our revamped OL is our revamped coaching staff. This season is on them to show substantial progress on both sides of the ball, in game-time and after halftime. Keep Pounding.
  2. I'll take Corral as a Darnold without the "Ghosts." Darnold has great attributes but can't see the field and has been too beaten up so much in the NFL he will likely never reach his talent potential. Our revamped line will help both QBs.
  3. More on Jordan from Cincy. Also he had a PFF Score of 43.7 in 2019, 55.7 score in 2020 and over 80 in the preseason playing with the twos. So it looks like he has been getting better. During this time he also moved from LG to RG so doesn't look like help on the left side. Also since this is our thing now he has a RAS of 7.98. Which is better than most of our current players https://www.cincyjungle.com/2021/8/31/22650464/michael-jordan-bengals-cuts-2021-ohio-state-buckeyes-football-news-nfl
  4. From a Bengal fan for what it's worth "He was the guy that fell on Burrow. It was a freak accident and you could tell he felt terrible about it. But he had a fantastic camp and preseason under much better coaching and was a starter on our first roster, so a lot of us Bengals fans were willing to give him a second chance bc of all the news saying he was our best OL in preseason. Which makes it all the more puzzling as to why he was cut. Either way, you guys are getting a starting OL for essentially no risk, so its a great signing even just for depth."
  5. Doesn't sound like a first rounder. Panthers selected Washington LB Shaq Thompson with the No. 25 overall pick in the 2015 NFL draft. Thompson (6'0/228) earned the 2014 Paul Hornung Award as the nation's most versatile player, finishing his three-year career with 15 tackles for loss, three forced fumbles, and five interceptions. Thompson scored six TDs in 2014, including three on fumble returns and two at running back. He ran 4.64 with a 33 1/2-inch vertical and 9-foot-9 broad jump at the Combine. Not athletic enough for safety and small for linebacker, Thompson is a tweener prospect who may open his career as a dime defender in Carolina's sub-packages. GM Dave Gettleman likely views Thompson as SLB Thomas Davis' long-term heir apparent. Apr 30 - 10:47 PM
