He's 22. I believe the oldest player drafted in the lottery this year. His game improved drastically while in college (leading some to believe he's peaked early,) he lacks fast-twitch play, has average wingspan and he's unathletic (aka white.) I'm not saying that I believe he has little upside. This is just what Ive heard from scouts/scouting videos. I believe these same guys also said Steph Curry lacked upside when he was drafted.

Won't do much to convince the skeptics that he's any good as he's viewed as lacking upside. Makes sense he would start strong but then peter out over time as others are improving and he's already a finished product. Still it's good to see him hitting 3s. I wont lie, I'm salivating a bit over what he can do with MKG, Zeller and Kemba on the court with him.

I totally agree with you but when you hear it from Gettleman you'll hear it from the masses. What I'm not sure of is whether or not it's a smokescreen or Gettleman is turning into Al Davis.

Hey if he goes in the 4th round I'm not against it, especially if hes the best player available on Gettlemagic's board. True with the signing of Dickson it's not as big of a need as when I made my original post but we are going to need to develop some depth at the position.

If we can get another good pass catching TE ala Shockey I'd be happy with this WR group. Anyone remember how comfortable Cam looked in a true 2 TE set?

MKG Kemba Zeller Those three are our core as we grow. Whether Kemba can play with Steph Curry when he comes home in 2017 I'm not sure. I'm also keeping my eye on Vonleh and Hairston to be in the mix when the prodigal son returns and we better have a couple more pieces in place by then. Besides Hendo and Stephenson who are expendable for their own reasons, everyone else is old or broke and therefore expendable.
