Horn. Doubtful couldn’t practice today Dane Jackson here or for smith wade Moton. Out. Chisson (sp) will replace him, not Brady Josie Out. Chandler maybe Chau smith wade Out I couldn’t catch all the names filling in …linebackers are well…you know. dave better do a whole lot of successful clock eating in his play calling Playing A’shon, Clowney , Xaiver , Damien and Chuba Talks about Pete Carroll possibly becoming Bears Hc said would be great for the Bears

Did not participate: CB Jaycee Horn (hip), LG Damien Lewis (illness/ankle), OLB Cam Gill (illness), RT Taylor Moton (knee), ILB Josey Jewell (head/neck/quad), OLB Jadeveon Clowney (elbow/knee), CB Chau Smith-Wade (illness/chest) Limited participation: OLB Amare Barno (knee), RB Chuba Hubbard (knee), WR Xavier Legette (hip/wrist), WR Adam Thielen (hamstring), TE Tommy Tremble (shoulder/back), DE A’Shawn Robinson (knee), OLB DJ Wonnum (shoulder/knee) Full participation: QB Bryce Young (hamstring), C Cade Mays (illness) OT Ikem Ekwonu (shoulder/illness) details below The Carolina Panthers are banged up heading into the final two games of the season. The team practiced Thursday without five starters, including cornerback Jaycee Horn (hip). Horn, right tackle Taylor Moton (knee), outside linebacker Jadeveon Clowney (elbow/knee), and inside linebacker Josey Jewell (head/neck/quad) were seen on the practice field, but didn’t take part in team drills. Left guard Damien Lewis (illness/ankle) and nickel corner Chau Smith-Wade (illness/chest) were also held out of the workout. If Horn were to miss the Week 17 battle with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, the Panthers would probably need to rely on Maiden, North Carolina, native Caleb Farley, among others, to make up for the loss. Horn’s status for the game is in question after sitting out the second workout of the week. Moton and Lewis, if they were to miss the game against Tampa Bay on Sunday, would likely be replaced by Brady Christensen and Chandler Zavala, respectively. Smith-Wade, if sidelined for the game, would probably be replaced by veteran Dane Jackson. The Panthers are particularly light on inside and outside linebacker depth, so Clowney and Jewell will be worth monitoring on Friday. The team signed linebacker Chandler Wooten on Tuesday to serve as insurance for Jewell, while second-year outside linebacker DJ Johnson would likely get the call to replace Clowney if needed.

Yes for the team, the fans, the franchise, the other players and for Young himself, glad he looks good ..Glad he doesn’t look crushed glad he is improving this franchise has so many needs helped along by poor GM and Owner We know this This young needs to be here next year regardless however, people talk about a speed receiver, as if that changes things… …if the QB does not have the arm strength for that long pass with sufficient velocity to out pace the closing speed of NFL cornerbacks, that speed receiver won’t do much good, even as a decoy. I need to see Young be able to do that …and if he can’t do it, you will see defenses do what Dallas and Parsons did 2 sundays ago that short arm to an open Thielen in the end zone against Dallas should give everyone pause jayden Daniels is special…has every tool and the mind needed Drake Maye might become that too they both would have gotten that ball to the end zone when I look at young compared against those….well…the game manager, that needs perfection not trying to denigrate young or people who support them

So it looks like Raleigh and Wilmington won’t get the game
raleigh-panther replied to MGH1989's topic in Carolina Panthers
I understand that thanks ive had Sunday ticket since 1993 my point was this is a late decision, who knows how it will be handled by the broadcast partners and YouTube licensing ..land That did not used to be so until about 10 years ago …the game had to be a sellout in the stadium or the owner had have the club pay for empty seats or some such it also used to have geo restrictions not necessarily tied to home teams -

raleigh-panther replied to MGH1989's topic in Carolina Panthers
Lived in Raleigh from 1991 to 2024 i have never seen them not carry a Panthers game ever Even when they were historically bad…even when people were screaming to see the Redskins Probably Can’t get them in Sunday ticket either given geo restrictions…who knows sad state of affairs Tepper. That is all -

I’d just like for there to be a decent game for those Panthers fans in attendance home wins over the past 7 years have been in short supply if they can’t win, at least try and give the illusion of looking like a pro team for a qtr or two the nfl is an expensive hobby to constantly pay for putrid who knows, maybe someone will step up against a not great Cardinals defense more than the Cardinals step up against a not great Carolina defense -
All of Bryce’s weapons that left the team

Where Young is concerned you constantly repeat yourself I wish he could be everything you think he is i do not hate Bryce Young i do noT actively root for him to fail i have simply accepted his floor is his ceiling What i do hate is that the Panthers picked him to be something he cant be and wasted players , draft picks and veterans’ longevity on him After year 3, cut bait -

What is Young’s record ? what are his rankings ? why do defenses stack the box against the run more against Young than Dalton He was a bad draft pick at 1 by a fired wishing and hoping wont change it -

raleigh-panther replied to NAS's topic in Carolina Panthers
You know exactly what i am saying stoud has potential . He has the measurables. He has the intangibles he does everything in his power to raise that team what does bryce have. Seriously. Go look at the games where he looked decent and more then one, those throws took adam theilen herculean effort Same fir other receivers bryce young is nice to people. Im sure he is a good person What he is not, is a franchise qb -

Poor Bryce Life is just so unfair sick of this justification #1 picks should be a bit more than a game manager and a ‘point guard’ Totally stupid take by the Panthers Dont fret, he will have $38 million to make up for all the injustices he has endured He, his family and agent, all were also smart enough to fleece the Gm and owner of the Panthers Bill Parcells said it best when said about Young as the number 1 pick given his ohysical limitations in a big man’s game ‘he better walk in water’ He doesnt i want Josh Allen, not a point guard who cant see over the line and cant throw a 50 yard pass to the end zone michah parson showed clearly what Young is that Cowboys defense had ZERO fear of Young’s arm We have seen that since he has been here
