Locked On Panthers with Solomon Wilcots
raleigh-panther replied to jayboogieman's topic in Carolina Panthers
He makes good points…and we all know these things if we have ever been in management Tepper isn’t my favorite person I think he wants that cultural but he picks the wrong people to grow it, and becomes frustrated when his vision doesn’t materialize and requires course correction he is a typical Myers’s Briggs ENTP personality …to a tee. he has big dreams. Big visions but when those do not materialize, he quits on that vision and moves on truthfully, I do not blame him for firing Reich. I blame him for hiring him and wanting young. He should be playing percentages vs outliers -

Cold very cold …but I did lol because I’m shallow -
Maybe…he is happy where he is…doing what he does…for who he does it for i said the same in another thread a few weeks ago not sure he has the personality for a HC either and he may have personal considerations it is more than possible to have a long, lucrative career as a coordinator without the spotlight, aggravation and pressure of a HC not everyone is cutout for the belly of the beast NFL HCs endure

Tony Pauline: Campen was Tepper's "eyes and ears"
raleigh-panther replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
7 years is an eternity in the nfl 3 years is the standard to turn around it seems in the nfl lions latest example…if teams know what they are doing Rhule is a ncaa coach and a really really bad hire -
Playoff teams invest heavily in both lines the Panthers need to do the same They have zero depth, two continually injured guards, an underperforming left tackle and an average right tackle and a one trick pony center and zero, and I mean zero, backups worth a damn …and those coming off injury guards are a year older they need to go young I would not care if every single draft pick was oline 17 games make that line a necessity for an extremely small nfl qb that they spent a fortune on over the years, they haven’t drafted a WR or TE worth a damn, Steve Smith during the Siefert years was a long time ago, so get those in free agency

Tony Pauline: Campen was Tepper's "eyes and ears"
raleigh-panther replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well…he was blaming the sacks on Young and his lack of dropping to the right depth on setup Whether he was right or wrong, that was a conversation for himself and the coaching staff not the GM and Tepper It is called saving one’s ass -
Honestly. I’ve liked Canales for a month or so..the more I read, more I liked him still, performance based business …in my mind the issue with the panthers is talent evaluation and that starts with regional scouts and goes all the way up that chain and that is on Morgan’s side of the house we can say the selections ‘didn’t map the appropriate skill to the coach’s scheme’ all we want but regardless of coaching scheme, the drafting has been awful and free agents on pro personnel not much better. if they want to compete, they better fix that pretty damned quick

story from Adam Schfeter continues. Last tweeted at 1045p. Eastern The Carolina Panthers are targeting Kansas City Chiefs’ vice president of football operations Brandt Tillis for a prominent front-office role in their organization that matches him up with new general manager Dan Morgan.

Cold hearted ! I love it ! Dying here lol

This was the argument for not pulling the trigger on a QB to begin with and when tvey did, they drafted an outlier Young must improve or he will be gone 62 sacks…id say 20 of those were on Young Too, im glad campen is gone as well…that oline was a little too comfy with status quo and there is something wrong with Ickey. He needs to get his head out of his ass or be moved on I didn't want Young but he is here one year is what he gets im very leery of needing the perfect situation for him to succeed thats never going to happen its a performance based business produce or someone will Im sure he is good to his Momma, puppies, and is a charming dinner partner but that's not what this job description is there are 51 other players whose livelihood depends in this kid and i think there should be competition brought in Not big on being given without earning /end rant

lol. Offensive line coach 62 sacks will do that
-
I think Dan Morgan sent a message new day and new sheriff in town Perhaps Tabor was in the wrong side of that story id rather have Campen go…it’s not like that oline has been gang busters time for a new set of eyes on them for scheme needed…not necessarily replacement but repositioning also

Per Adam Schfeter Panthers informed their interim head coach/special teams coordinator Chris Tabor that he will not be retained despite the two years that he has left on his contract and he now is free to seek employment elsewhere, per source.

Canales Hire Temperature Gauge
raleigh-panther replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
Ok well if you want to spin or feeL negative, feel negative tepper’s tale of the tape does that However, It’s amazing how many NFL coaches are dumbasses by that simple measurement …even knowing coaching 101 -
