  1. That artificial turf, for better or worse, they need to get used to it now, not opening day used to be that grass gave us an advantage in bad weather but hey you know, gotta be able to play soccer and see bands there
  2. Wilson looks great ….very quick release …sees the field…..but it is a vanilla defense out there
  3. Thank you for sharing this article. A dear friend of mine is a medical massage therapist. She takes cases surgeons can’t fix. The stories she has told me about soliciting before and during appts are pretty sad. Fortunately for her, she is a big ole country girl and she could probably physically defend herself pretty well Shouldn’t have to, but this sort of thing does happen to them
  4. Preseason, I just look for smart, want to, and when a player has a chance to shine, does he As far as Darnold, he needs the work. He also needs to have opening day not be the first time he takes a snap in BofA on that new turf in front of a crowd. Bottom line, regardless of how Darnold does in preseason or the season, he is the QB1 in 2021 Hope he does well and looks the part
  5. I wish Cam every great thing in life. I had hoped he could retire but great athletes do not ride into the sunset easily. there isn’t a Sunday in that stadium in Charlotte that I do not miss him Quite a fall from Cam to Kyle Allen to Heinke to Bridgewater to Darnold In all honesty, pretty hard to get excited about it. Hope the team does well in any case
  6. Make no mistake, owners notice empty seats particularly one who wants said region to pony up for a new stadium. btw, does Tepper strike you as a patient man?
  7. Apologies. Sometimes things get lost in thread translation I want Rhule to succeed, make no mistake, but I don’t know. Time will tell Peace
  8. You were talking about Rhule’s extension for playoff wins if I read your post correctly
  9. I loved Luke. How could any fan not ? he had lost a step. It was obvious to him and everyone and that’s why he left because even with a lost step he was still better than 99% but not to his standards, and, of course, his health there will never be another Luke, never it hurts to see him in Bills gear but he is a grown man. He can do what he wants I don’t know about Tepper I really don’t care for him much but it doesn’t matter I can buy into what he sells or walk away. In this case, imho, it had little to do with Luke’s decision other than ancillary
  10. Rhule better watch his livid moments, after awhile, they will stop listening
  11. Me as well. This isn’t plug and play in the NCAA Go find a game manager to execute some variety of Sean Payton’s offense…as if copying someone else’s system is that easy That’s the nfl from 20 years ago what happens when Brady bails as he will….I just don’t see what they are doing Rhule, and Brady, are very green NFL coaches and it showed mightily last year. He has no excuses this year The players he wanted. The GM he wanted Second year. Full OTAs, training camp, etc. What appears to be an easy schedule. He best come out of this year at 8 wins and a few of those against quality teams
  12. It does only because Fields was sitting there for Rhule to take, he didn’t it’s not like this franchise has had many franchise QB1s, so passing on a potential one, particularly one with the athletic skill to make up for a poor line, for someone who was PFF’s what, 39th ranked starting nfl QBs, doesn’t inspire confidence These QB decisions in a QB driven league will define Rhule’s tenor in Charlotte or how long that tenor might be. who knows, maybe Darnold is an incognito QB1 and Rhule is a genius. Time will tell
  13. Pretty salty over observations in a thread you didn’t need to join knowing the topic
  14. That’s how I feel. He is a tough guy, a football player. He will have his good and bad games but what he has, the guts and physical ability, it can’t be taught
  15. So did the NFL Channel crew but hey you know, we see what we look for right he lead them to a score to end the half, with little time left, so for his first nfl action, with the second time, pretty good.
  16. He looked pretty damned good leading to a FG with less than 10 seconds left in the half. Moving the picket et al
  17. I would hope as a pro HC , a pro OL coach and a pro GM, that collective group, already know their OL rotation. If they don’t, they shouldn’t be here. what they also know is several of those players, that they bought low as Kmart blue light specials, have injury histories and that is also why they are not playing 1st string tomorrow They have to last thru 17 games I suspect the ones will play 1st quarter of preseason game 3 at home and that’s it Might as well cool jets, as that is how Rhule is most likely going to do business Reminder, they performed collectively pretty well last year without any preseason and a new coaching staff and offense
  18. he changes tone a lot. Pick any player, coach or subject he talks a lot too.
  19. Everyone grows. It’s a question of how much and how long it takes Add to it, this is pro sports, the highest level. Even the best college QBs, Heisman winners, fail at this level. It is survivor of the fittest in the NFL for all the talk of ‘patience’ and other such pablum from Tepper and Rhule, IMHO, Darnold has one year and in that one year, Mccafrey grows older, Anderson’s contract runs out, and then Moore’s AND IF Darnold fails, another start over? Tepper didn’t become a billionaire because of patience He wants a new stadium. Winners hav a better chance of that.
  20. ..and then, don’t pass on every damned lineman in the league….the first two rds
