you are correct. the difference is Cam was an athletic superstar. Bottom line, Young has to produce He has to not be the problem ….he cant ask others to do what he can’t do himself i dont want to hear anything from him. I want to see him effectively and efficiently drive the field when it matters and score a TD, or egads, win more than 2 games this year is his ‘tale of the tape’ 2.7 seconds one of his tangible measurements as a fan, and I’m one of many, he gives me no hope, no excitement and franchise qbs in that category don’t last long in the big boy league.

The thing I do not understand…there is nothing seen in the pros that was not seen at Alabama..,the major difference size, reaction time and speed required in the pros how in the name of god did all the pro scouts not raise red flags about this…he was 1 on most scouts rankings -

My observation of last year’s version of Young, and I fully admit I’m a nobody…and this is in the occasion when he had time 1. poor long ball 2. the more the distance, the less accurate and the more contested balls 3. holds the ball too long for nfl level defenses 4 very poor footwork 5 doesn’t see middle of the field well He is what he is and the Panthers have to live with it ..for at least another year Unless that all improves exponentially, having a speed receiver that takes the top off the defense is pointless. The defenses won’t honor it because they know he can’t execute it. to me, the only value of XL has over other WRs is his touted wins with ‘contested balls’. the panthers history of drafting receivers is abysmal. I just hope whatever receiver they take, breaks that trend. The Moose and Steve Smith drafts were a long time ago -

we know The Panthers have empty spots but here’s two that are overlooked with the WR focus CB plus Horn’s 5th year option looms post draft and we all know he cannot stay healthy or hasn’t to this point It’s a long season to not have at least 4 reliable / serviceable corners TE. Roster right now is Tremble and Hunt. I love Tommy but look for a TE in the 3rd, 4th at the latest Most great teams in the modern area has a star TE. We used to have one, and once had two…. -

I dont prefer anything honestly …but you have to make defenses think that once in a blue moon young MIGHT be able to stretch the field that inability of his is why i never wanted him to be drafted -

Xavier Legette, Ladd McConkey, Xavier Worthy, and Keon Coleman are names you’ve heard time and time again as possibilities at the top of the second round for the Carolia Panthers. Most project Carolina to walk out of the draft with one of those top receivers, but there’s also a chance they could double dip and select two weapons for Bryce Young. According to Dalton Wasserman of Pro Football Focus, Oregon’s Troy Franklin is one of the best fits for Carolina on day two of the 2024 NFL Draft. Carolina owned the lowest deep receiving grade in the NFL last season. Oregon’s Troy Franklin was one of college football’s premier deep threats over the past two years. He finished 2023 with a 99.1 deep receiving grade. The Panthers' acquisition of Diontae Johnson gave them a weapon in the short game, but Franklin’s long speed would be a constant threat to deep safeties for the long haul.” Franklin’s draft range is anywhere from the middle of the second round to middle of the third, so if Carolina were to end up with the former Duck it’s probably in a trade back scenario or at the top of the third at No. 65. In 13 games this past season, Franklin recorded 81 receptions for 1,383 yards and 14 touchdowns.

Our the offensive coordinator

Bpa offensive players both picks ladd at 33 Great route runner. Always open Catches everything He better suits Young I dont get the Legette love he us nit nearly as polished as Ladd because young does not have a strong arm for the long ball at 39, ill go the best TE if canales thinks it will help the offense if not that, then center we need starters, not projects and Corbett has an injury history now
