  1. Yes but isn’t that why the Panthers supposedly brought in Bridgewater...to be the bridge Qb for a young drafted Qb That was one of the talking points besides he knew Brady’s offense and he was just a swell guy and he might work out
  2. That topic has been talked about many times on the board I did not elaborate The Panthers, in my context, are the owner, the GMs and HC retaining Rivera. Retaining Hur p ey the handling of Newton. the bringing in of Bridgewater. the pretending Teddy fell from the sky and they had nothing to do with him being here. the handing out of over priced contracts for average players the public declarations of needing a replacement for said Bridgewater Winning an unnecessary game with the QB lottery the list is longer than this one I don’t consider the Panthers above expectations. Neither did the NFL. I didnt see Rhule winning ‘coach of the year honors Not making excuses either. The owner is a billionaire and the GC and GM Are millionaires
  3. Yes, you are right ...the 49ers managed to navigate the situation with a lower draft position and yet Tepper’s GM and $65 million coach couldn’t
  4. Me too. Welcome. Some people on here are assholes. Ignore them
  5. The Panthers should just trade and get their QB. If they like Wilson, make it happen don’t settle. If they like fields, get him what bothers me is I feel like they in no way saw the 49ers coming and the 49ers were In Fitterer’s division The whispers were there Yeah, I hear it ‘but we have so many holes’ wringing hands. ‘Not all Round one picks work’. More hand wringing bullshit. If you want Wilson, get him. Everything has a price. more likely, the Panthers really don’t see anyone they like but they were willing to give up a lot for a beat up Matthew Stafford one thing is certain, the clock ticks on the contracts for the play makers and their contracts...tic tock.
  6. This Rhule made it quite clear his feelings on Bridgewater. Could have unloaded that contract and rented a QB1 for a year if needed but noooo its the ‘process’ you know
  7. There are a lot of QB needy teams this year the odds of one of the top 5 QBs just magically falling to the Panthers at 8 is unlikely The odds of a team not trading up, or trying to, is also unlikely odds are for the Panthers more trading down then up Panthers screwed the pooch several times since Rhule arrived and now Rhule is stuck with the player he fell in love with having that he now wants to divorce 2021 is going to be interesting
  8. Yes, he will the problem is his ability lacks courage and that, as an nfl qb, is not good I’m not talking about courage to overcome injury. I’m talking courage to trust what he sees and to have the physical ability to deliver a ball. He doesn’t have that he will be richer than any of us will ever be but I really don’t want to sit through another year of him as a starter listening to him at the line of scrimmage is maddening. Just run the damned play
  9. Tom Brady skews that number to start with 4 of those QBs are questionable for the HOF If you meant first rd, different story but Brady skews that as well the fact is the number of Bradysand Russell Wilsons are rare Brees was a second rd
  10. And a HC who is not great at NFL poker not impressed we will probably end up with Mond because our div 1 coach recruited him Rhule best make a few leaps this year in the right direction
  11. Are the 49ers really taking Jones? sweet baby Jesus. Hard to believe
  12. You have seen three losing seasons under Tepper get ready for a fourth
  13. If they believe Wilson is the guy, get him everyone has a price
  14. And we should be concerned about it not sure he is as bright as he thinks he is and Fitterer, coming from that division, how could they not know this was coming
  15. And we should be concerned about it not sure he is as bright as he thinks he is and Fitteree, coming from that division, how could they not know this was coming
  16. Apparently Rhule doesn’t know what he wants maybe he will get lucky but it just seems the Panthers can’t have nice things go big or go home If they think Wilson us all that and a bag of chips, then trade up and get him If not, just live with the QB they just had to have last year
  17. I said this very thing several weeks ago that Rhule connection you know trade down then pickup this kid in the third or fourth do I like it, no but we are on the Rhule train
  18. I do not want Watson anymore. At all. I doubt too many PSL holders would i loved Cam dearly. I grew weary of defending him against frivolous concerns and a failed fumble recovery vs defending someone against sexual assault. We can do better my feeling is either trade the farm for number two or trade down don’t settle and that’s what they would be doing Rhule is a college coach it showed in his game management, it showed in not being smart enough to play scrubs against Washington and it showed with his mouth running directly after the season never let anyone outside the organization know what you are doing before the draft
  19. I said the exact same thing in January never let other teams publicly know what you are thinking
  20. To the Panthers, you snooze, you lose no way are the Falcons trading with them
  21. Zod, just wanted people to not have to search a link for info https://kslsports.com/454980/zach-wilson-byu-football-pro-day-nfl-network/?
