No one wants him to fail. He just does he does have nfl coaches around him now and if he hadn’t, it would have been Pickett or dline -

David Tepper to speak to media at noon today
raleigh-panther replied to jamos14's topic in Carolina Panthers
Thank you for sharing this this absolutely is how I feel …and he asked the question I asked, Tepper, you’ve kept your mouth shut for more than a year, and you just have to talk today .. why -
Tepper is full of it regarding Darnold
raleigh-panther replied to top dawg's topic in Carolina Panthers
I find the timing of his comments interesting. Would they not have been better served post draft ? -
I’m beyond sick. I hate that mother fuger
-
I have no words for how much I despise David Tepper

I know of no true number one qb in the nfl who would be fine with it If he is, and if what Scott F described is true, he is not someone iId ever want as my number one option at qb These guys are supposed to be leaders his money is guaranteed whether he is fine with it or not however and that’s also part of the problem but we all know this
-
I personally found it humorous that told Sam that and Sam was ‘fine with it’ $18.5 reasons to be ‘fine with it’ not sure why Fitterer felt it necessary to give that info….I mean, no other team wants Darnold and his salary is guaranteed

Fitterer and Morgan draft presser today at 2:00
raleigh-panther replied to Zod's topic in Carolina Panthers
Yeah. If I had $18.5 million guaranteed, they could do any freaking thing they wanted to do -
The best hope for fans, and for the team itself, is that there are veteran NFL coaches on this team now. they may not be Bill Bellincheks but they understand what it takes to succeed in the Nfl …and that right there, is a massively updated clown show than the one we endured for 2 years.…meaning we have gone from clowns that march in the local parades, to Bozo it may still be a clown show, but it should be an improved clown show that”s all I got…hope

What’s the saying, ‘when people show you who they are believe them…the first time’’ i don’t care if Darnold got a raw deal with the line and coaches. He didn’t help the situation and made it far worse I didn’t care if he is the nicest person and helps old ladies across the streets He is starting his 5th year in the nfl and has been the worst qb in the 4 years preceding He was so indecisive and so poor at making reads back there, that the plays were dumbed down for him on purpose and he still failed. The process of reading coverages and the time it takes him to do so, much less correctly, isn’t nfl level. It never will be he is going to walk away with $23 million from the Panthers. I want him to take his $23 million, get a surf board and go back to San Clemente you can put lipstick on a pig, but it’s still a pig in my Panthers fandom, the worst nightmare of my life was hearing he was being brought here he hasn’t disappointed

I feel they take a LT at 6 and then...
raleigh-panther replied to musicman's topic in Carolina Panthers
As much as I despise Rhule and would like nothing better than for him to rot in the bed he made, neither the players or the fans can stomach another year of Darnold don’t forget those players have incentives in their contract and some actually aspire to, you know, make it to a playoff game, and that is absolutely not happening with Darnold. Too, do not expect the fans in the stadium to be anything other than opposing fans why travel to see the worst qb in the league look like the worst qb in the league it’s called Hope…and right now, this franchise and it’s fans, have none. losing hope in September is a helluva lot worse for a pro football team than losing it in December -
Rich Eisen on Pelissero's QB piece
raleigh-panther replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
I’ve felt this way for awhile now It is the best way to contain Tepper’s train wreck of a head coach Get that tackle. One of the three should be there. Pickup Mayfield. If he plays well in McAdoo’s system, then options exist in 2023. Jimmy G and that throwing shoulder surgery, just say ‘no’. Rhule is the gift that keeps on giving in oh so many ways I think Willis has so much potential you can’t teach speed or arm strength but I just don’t see what he needs to thrive in Charlotte If he had 3 more inches in height, prototypical . It is conceivable with McAdoo, that Willis is drafted at 6, and another train wreck of an old LT is brought in I wouldn’t cry if Willis is the pick Honestly, from the first time I saw him, he reminded me so much of Steve McNair We should be that lucky McNair attended Alcorn State still bigger than Liberty but by no means an Auburn in competition either
