Will Levis hype thread!
raleigh-panther replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Honestly, he reminds me of Blaine Gabbert there is size and raw talent of a Josh Allen and then there is Levis nothing about Levis is impressive to me. I’ve watched him several times I’ve tried to like him. I just don’t I almost feel like his ceiling is close to now but that’s just me IMHO a number one QB pick, a rd one pick, Shipley make everyone around him better. He doesn’t -
I am a PSL owner …22 years worth.,..I know all about losing…and about winning in the nfl it’s not promised Bad owner here, bad decision there…so, best take it for what it is or don’t participate This year, for the very first time in those 22:years, I only went to one game, the same as other PSL owners, as I knew what Rhule was the day he was hired. he didn’t disappoint. The owner made the change …on the players, yes, they get paid. The average lifespan of a NFL player is 3 years. Their time is short. The sport is brutal and they know that. for these guys, there are only so many Sundays Few have the longevity they expect.

I didn’t say that. The extrapolation is on belief, one game at a time and luck. Who knows where it leads. No different than playing golf if you think you are going to 3 putt, I assure you, you will. That Giants team, that was a dog by all the experts, took it one game at a time, got hot, got healthy, got lucky and they made the run. The Panthers have no young Eli as QB. They have a ‘Rudy’ but follow the one game at a time and see where it leads I am not big on throwing away a season of these young men’s lives on the proposition of ‘maybe’ finding the next Mahomes or Allen. it is game 8, not game 16 as long as they fight, we should support them and this Coach. That’s my opinion. Also, I support this quote ‘You play to win the game’ Herm Edwards

Thank you keep on ‘a’thinkin’

Carolina 24. Falcons 21 sometimes, belief makes good things happen I go back to the Giants team that finished 9 and 7 and took out the unbeaten patriots of course belief is not enough but I really think this team is starting to know who they are , who they have always been I have always liked Marcus but he can be a turn over machine as can PJ but the real wildcard in this game is cordarrelle Patterson if he plays, they are a different team

The fact his ass is sitting on the bench should tell him they wanted someone who could throw a forward pass…to one of our players. i honestly think he has post injury traumatic stress in the pocket. He looks nothing like the tenacious competitor I saw in college and all years except last year in Cleveland. he is irrelevant now anyway. They would play Darnold before him I suspect

Has the visiting team ever won in a Thursday night ? Ravens look like crap

What’s your 2023 QB big board (including Corral)
raleigh-panther replied to Wundrbread33's topic in Carolina Panthers
Lamar Jackson dropped to number 32 rd 1. Mahomes, number 10 rd 1 think those teams are sorry they didn’t pick in the top 5 ? -
Sounds like another week without Horn...
raleigh-panther replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
Quote Horn has played in just eight regular-season games during his NFL career, as he missed all but three games during his rookie season because of a foot fracture. -
I think any fan that knew anything about the NFL could have forecasted, and many of us did sadly, these outcomes …and worst of all, that the Rhule failed decision would take his tenure plus 1 to 3 years to recover from, plus, losing veteran players to make up for blown draft picks I believe, and I’ve been vocal about my dislike of Tepper, that he learned from this and while the next coach may not be Wilks, it will be someone with at least competency in the NFL as the starting point and a more traditional alignment Time is not something we can get back nor can we change one thing about the past so while this article cements what we all knew, it’s time to forget about yesterday’s news Let's just fully support those players giving their all and a Coach, who as the saying goes, is trying to make ‘chicken salad out of chicken poo’

Remember Fields is on his second HC and OC in his two years in the league that staff finally did an offensive game plan that allowed Fields to move around he looked great against the Pats. Moved well. Improvised. Ran. Great throws the week before, Fields did everything in his power to will the Bears to a win he got the hell beat out of him and kept getting up tough guy we could have done far worse than taking Justin but Rhule would have failed to develop him nor did he have anyone to develop him

Players hoping to help Wilks win the full time job
raleigh-panther replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
This right here…1000 times -
It’s great to have a little hope and i really like Coach Wilks a lot So happy for him However, of course, the wins have to come and we both know Tepper does like his shiny new toys my feeling, no reason he can’t succeed, just have to see how he does as season plays out particularly against better teams I.e. (against Bengals, Ravens et Al ) what did you make of Tepper and his actions in the locker room ?
-
I like Coach Wilks a lot He’s a football coach’s coach He isn’t the shiny new toy Tepper craves though He is old school let’s see how does first but if he does well, keeping him, Al, Campen and Tabor would really be great. Just a decent OC.

I don’t want my team to tank I want them to play, execute and be coached like a pro team if their record is a losing one and that gets them a top 5 or top 10 draft selection at season’s end, so be it Frankly, the pure joy I saw from them in the locker room post game, having overcome so much, with an interim headcoach and all the rest, was worth any draft choice in 2017 draft TD 1 Trubisky was number 2 Mahomes was 10 (trade up by Chiefs) Watson was 12 In the 2018 draft, rd 1 Josh Allen was number 7. Lamar Jackson. number 32. And …. Mayfield was 1 and Darnold number 3 and Rosen, 10 id rather they play to win now then chase something that is a total crap shot in the future

Correct Robbie Anderson was a huge waste of space and a head case . Knew it when he was signed Good riddance to yet another of Rhule’s boys
